Bounty Resort has deluxe cliff-side accommodation, private fan bungalows and shared rooms. All rooms have private bathrooms, hot water and free wi-fi. Many rooms have sea view balconies with cozy hammocks. There is an ocean view yoga shala, swimming pool, lush gardens and access to three beaches. There is also a great restaurant, laundry service, motorbike rental and ATM.
The course strictly adheres to Yoga Alliance content requirements in regards to analytics, philosophy, anatomy, teaching methodology and teaching practicum.

Each morning you will practice Aerial Restorative Yoga, which teaches how to align the body correctly and practice safely long held poses and gives space for deeper insight into the poses. Also included is daily guided meditation, pranayama breathing and kriya cleansing techniques to prepare the body and mind for a deeper spiritual practice. Daily.
Receive detailed analytic instruction of traditional aerial yoga asanas and techniques along with their classical hatha yoga counterparts. Learn correct alignment, cueing, sequencing, adjustments, mistakes and modifications for various levels. Analytics are detailed with a course manual, which includes scripted sequences and over 50 pictures. Daily.
Use swings to support flyers and bases with balance and alignment to achieve creative poses mixing partner and acro yoga with therapeutics and massage. Students learn to trust and communicate with each other and themselves in fun and challenging new ways. 1 class.
Explore the therapeutic aspects of aerial yoga by using swings and hammocks to stretch deeply into the connective fascia tissue, create traction, to decompress the spine, create space between the intervertebral discs, relieve nerve pressure and cure back pain using techniques from physical therapy and Tha massage. 1 class.
Use anti-gravity style hammocks to practice more intricate complicated asanas, which involve wrapping the fabric around the body. Students are welcome to complete the whole course using silk hammocks if they prefer, but ULU Yoga’s cushioned swings are far more comfortable. 1 class.
Learn to synchronize simple aerial acrobatic flows in pairs and coordinate as a group to create artistic sequences. Students paint themselves and perform their choreography with music, which you can record to make an incredible video. 1 class.
Learn to make bamboo tripods, give event demonstrations, practice with double swings and set up group photoshoots to take amazing pictures flying outside in nature. 1 class.

With yogic and ayurvedic perception of energy and philosophy, we will create a new understanding of anxiety, depression and stress and the different ways to relieve it through mindfulness and somatic body work.
Learn communication skills, teaching styles, teacher qualities, time management, establishment of priorities and boundaries, student learning process, group dynamics, fulfilling individuals needs in various group setting, the principles of demonstration, observation and assisting.
Create an authentic yogic lifestyle with applying the Patanjali Yoga Sutras to daily life and to let your teachings be guided by the yamas and niyamas. Learn the brief history of yoga and development of aerial.
Practice teaching everyday to become a confident skilled instructor. Learn assisting, adjustments, set routines and class design. Received detailed feedback to facilitate development and finish the course ready to go out and teach professionally.
Students must complete 5 hours or pre-course work, plus daily self-study and group work during the course. The school supplies online videos to practice some basic poses and pranayama to prepare the body and mind for intensive training.
There are also suggested readings from the course manual and classical texts including Teaching Yoga by Mark Stephens, Hatha Illustrated by Martin Kirk, Yoga Anatomy by Leslie Kaminoff, Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, Hatha Yoga Pradipika and the Bhagavad Gita.
ULU Yoga is famous for their unique style and cushioned aerial swings, which are sold around the world. The fitted padding and polythread fabric provides greater comfort and support so you don’t slip or bruise the skin like with regular silk hammocks, thus facilitating a greater range of practice and development. But you can do the whole course with regular silk hammocks if you prefer. ULU Yoga Swings are sold internationally for $180 retail.
RYT receive a 50 hour Aerial Yoga Teacher Training - Certificate of Continuing Education accredited by Yoga Alliance. ULU Yoga graduates teach all over the world at elite yoga studios and 5 star resorts. Many are not Yoga Alliance members, but instead have other certifications such as personal training, pilates and dance for example.
This course is open to all levels and students are recommended to take rest and modify as needed. Each week there is a group sharing circle to give feedback and ensure your personal and academic needs are met and your time is truly enjoyable and nurturing on all levels to create a holistic balance. The key to ULU Yoga’s success has been open communication with students to both serve their specific needs, maintain group harmony, and reflect upon feedback to develop and grow.
We originally chose the name ULU just because it sounded nice and had no meaning in English. Like AUM, ULU is a poetic all encompassing wave vibration uniting us all. Later we learned it meant owl in Hindi, who sits still like a yogi in meditation peering through the darkness to dispel ignorance and illuminate the true nature of being though subtle intellect and energetic awareness.
ULU also means whirlwind and is slang for crazy in arabic languages, where they say “Are you ULU?”. Over time we chose to define ULU as Universal Love and Understanding. All together this summarizes perfectly ULU Yoga’s love for traditional yoga and crazy styles like aerial, which unite students by helping beginners to achieve advanced poses and fly.

Viktoria has a most vibrant energy, but is also a serious scholar with MA in Chemical Engineering and taught at university. She has over 10 years experience leading yoga courses and has certifications 500hr therapeutic yoga, 200hr Hatha Yoga, acro yoga, deep tissue massage and traditional tantra plus deep knowledge of yoga philosophy, anatomy and ayurveda. Viktoria's deep craving for study and self development lead her to combine western medical science with spirituality and yoga to create a compressive holistic health approach and clear understandable teaching.
Cody started yoga in 2010 and is Yoga Alliance E-RYT 200 in Multi-Style Yoga with additional certifications in Aerial and SUP Yoga. Cody has several years experience as lead instructor on numerous yoga trainings, specializing in vinyasa and sup yoga as well as anatomy, philosophy. Nutrition is great to study with Cody since he is a mostly raw vegan intermittent faster. He has also led mindfulness retreats, Mixed Movement Arts and Parkour workshops in Bali, India, Malaysia and Cambodia. Cody’s passion for movement as a whole interconnected discipline translates into all of his classes. He loves to motivate others through Yoga, movement and philosophy, to discover more about the miracle and magic that is the human body, mind and the world itself.
In the evening you can journey to the magical Dome Sauna on the mountaintop. The herbal steam rooms provide deep detoxing and heavenly stress relief. After the sauna there is an outdoor bonfire to sit around to discuss philosophy.
Vik (Germany, Russia) is a fully qualified Therapeutic Yoga Instructor (500 hrs) with a master degree in chemistry engineering. She holds certifications to practice Deep Tissue Massage, InsideYoga, Traditional Tantra Yoga and Nadi Healing Touch. Her deep craving for study and development of the human nature allow her teachings to reach into profound depths. Koh Phangan Island is magical paradise with pristine nature, mountains, waterfalls, wildlife, lush green jungle, fresh tropical fruit and the best beaches in Thailand. You will enjoy swimming, snorkeling, diving, thai massage, ecstatic dance, kirtan, sunset drum circles and fire shows.
Courses take place at Bounty Resort in Haad Yao beach, which has an ocean view yoga shala swimming pool and private beach. There are two more beaches just a two minute walk with heavenly turquoise waters, chill cafes, healthy vegetarian food and seafood barbecues.
You can practice all day looking at the heavenly turquoise waters and lush green jungle then jump in the ocean to cool off. The sand is smooth and white and the water is crystal clear to explore the exotic sea life and coral.
Packages include a healthy vegetarian breakfast with fresh tropical fruits and veg, green smoothie bowl, muesli, coconut rice porridge, homemade yogurt, boiled eggs, banana pancakes, coffee and tea.

The island is also famous for hiking in the lush green jungle forests and mountain treks. Students can organize many outings to visit waterfalls, night markets, and temples.
Just a couple minutes walk from the the yoga center are three incredible beaches with crystal clear turquoise water perfect for swimming and snorkeling with exotic fish and colorful coral. Haad Yao Beach is long and wide with many great cafes, Secret Beach is a shanti hideaway with shady trees and Bounty Resort has small private beach to mediate and connect with nature.
Koh Phangan has over 30 world class beaches, which are all free and open to the public. Every 5min there is another gem close by waiting for you to discover. Just keep walking, rent a motorbike or take a taxi.
Snorkeling is a nice way to get a glimpse of the beautiful underwater world around the island. There are many great snorkel spots on the island, especially on the Northwest coast. One of the best spots is located around the little island of Koh Ma (Horse Island), off Mae Haad beach at the Northwestern tip of Koh Phangan.
Boat trips around the island or to other islands can be arranged at reception. The most popular is Angthong National Marine Park, a fascinating archipelago of 42 tropical islands, limestone islands and cliffs which rise from the sea as dramatic and bizarre rock formations. hidden emerald lagoons, white sandy beaches, coral gardens.
Phaeng Waterfall National Park is located in the village of Madua Wan. The Park has a nice waterfall close to the entrance and some trekking routes to mountaintop viewpoints, including a long winding foot trail leading up to Koh Phangan’s highest mountain peak Khao Ra of 630 meters.
A don yang is a huge tropical tree and this gigantic specimen measures 14 meters in diameter, stands to branch off leaves and limbs for hundreds of years.
The Chinese temple is the result of the dream a woman had in 1990 in which the (Chinese) Buddha spoke to her and asked her to build a firelight for the people.
Wat Khao Noi is the oldest temple on Koh Phangan with ancient buildings and Chedis. The Buddha statue inside has been there for more than 300 years now.
Haad Yao Beach has kayak rental is a perfect location to explore the surrounding beaches.
Mountain bikes are available for rent near by. Experience mountain biking through the jungle paths and mountainous roads with incredible views at every turn.
Motorbikes are available for rent to explore everything the island has to offer at your own pace.
Koh Phangan has three Muay Thai stadiums in Thong Sala, one in Haad Rin and one in Thong Nai gPan, where regularly events are being held. You may go there to experience a night of Thailand’s most popular sport.
Traditional Thai massage uses no oils or lotions. The recipient remains clothed during a treatment. There is constant body contact between the giver and receiver, but rather than rubbing on muscles, the body is compressed, pulled, stretched and rocked. The receiver will be positioned in a variety of yoga-like positions during the course of the massage, that is also combined with deep static and rhythmic pressures. The massage generally follows designated lines ("sen") in the body. The legs and feet of the giver can be used to position the body or limbs of the recipient. In other positions, hands fix the body, while the feet do the massaging.
