Vishuddhi Yoga offers serious spiritual yogis their Kundalini yoga teacher training Goa India which involves a series of meditational techniques (kriyas) that aims at cleansing the chakras and raising the kundalini energy from Mooladhara to Sarhshaha, eventually leading to complete metamorphosis and transformation of consciousness.

Unlike its physical variant often being practiced in the west, practicing Kundalini yoga at Vishuddhi Yoga means drawing your awareness inward to your center self (Atman). You awaken the consciousness in a way that invites you to think creatively out of the box and develop your intuitive mind. Good health, willpower, concentration, youth, vigor, vitality, and peace are the natural outcomes as you go deeper into sadhana (the dedicated uninterrupted practice of a yogi with complete love and devotion) over the period of time.

This method of Kundalini works strongest for your personal transformation. By gradually and safely awakening and employing the power of Shakti, you will benefit greatly from an elevation in consciousness, higher physical well-being, and an expansion of awareness. Eventually, when you learn Kundalini yoga in India, practicing Kundalini Kriyas will also help you live a harmonious and balanced life full of contentment and compassion.

What is Kundalini yoga?

Kundalini yoga origins from the tantric tradition. The kundalini is untapped and dormant energy residing at the base of the spine. The Kundalini energy can be awakened and raised up through the body through the seven chakras from Mooladhara to Sahasrara. Full enlightenment (samadhi) occurs when the Kundalini energy reaches the Sahasrara (crown chakra) at the top of the head and your individual higher consciousness merges with the supreme consciousness or cosmos. In your daily life, you only use 10 percent of your brain. The Tantric tradition says that the range of your mental experiences can be broadened.

Experiences can be within the framework of time, space, and object, but, there also can be an experience beyond this framework of time, space, and object. Such experiences beyond time, space, and object can happen when mind and consciousness expand beyond its given definitions and limits as you know and experience normally otherwise. When Kundalini energy is unleashed and allowed to rise up within the chakras, then the fullest potential of human expression and talents manifest and you become a living genius in your own way.

You are able to experience beyond the normal confinements of your mind. Talent resides in the Kundalini. Talented and genius people are Kundalini awakened. With Kundalini yoga, you are able to focus your energy to achieve your goals. You can become the most talented and skilled person in your field. It starts with a revolution and ends with evolution.

Is this course for you?

You should opt for this course if you seek deeper self-transformation or if you are a serious student striving at more profound and internal experiences than a tourist yoga destination offers. At Vishuddhi, you will practice yoga in a spiritual way and avoid distractions of loud music, parties, and intoxication. You can feel more relaxed and connected with the world and yourself.

Your life can be transformed into one which is more happy, healthy, and harmonious if you do not give up on faith in the kriyas and philosophy. Kundalini is the true wisdom in the truest sense. When wisdom arrives, a man gets truly wise and Kundalini is the true wisdom in the truest sense.

Why you should choose a course at Vishuddhi Yoga?

Vishuddhi Yoga is not a commercial yoga school or yoga tourism destination. Vishuddhi teaches ancient traditional yoga methods as it comes from the ancient Indian yoga learning system. Vishuddi Yoga expects dedicated and serious students to join the courses who are truly dedicated to personal transformation and deepening the knowledge and understanding of yoga. Moreover, Vishuddhi offers a serious approach to learn yoga based on Vedic sciences. Vishuddi Yoga does not claim to have its own unique style and sincerely believes only in imparting yoga as it is without any repackaging or branding.

In Vishuddi Yoga's retreat, you will learn from experienced and awakened teachers who are into yoga as a life path and not just as a professional. None of the teachers have less than four years of teaching experience in their intensive courses and yoga teacher training courses. A course in Vishuddhi Yoga is just the beginning of your personal, spiritual, and professional transformation. You will be followed up with continued communication and one-to-one online guidance if you wish to do so.

Vishuddi Yoga also keeps small groups to give individual attention and interaction, which leads to a unique learning experience, especially in intensive teacher training courses. The most effective way of learning and teaching yoga is from ‘direct experience’. This is the traditional teaching where you will inherit the fruits of the wisdom of ancient yogis to the present day. Vishuddhi also arranges one or two yoga classes close to nature setups like beside the beach or forest or nature-inspired place to connect you with your own nature within the course.

Vishuddi Yoga also offers opportunities for volunteering for enthusiastic students after the course if you show enough intent and display true yogic ethics during and after the course. Vishuddi Yoga does not encourage unknown new strangers from anywhere to volunteer with them.

What is taught in this course?

Vishuddhi Yoga teaches authentic, ancient, and traditional Kundalini Kriya yoga methods which also includes Nada and Mantra yoga techniques and methods for cleansing your chakras and awakening your kundalini. The course is comprised of Kundalini yoga concepts in the form of interactive discourses with teachers, tantra kundalini philosophy, physiology, and detailed explanation and understanding of the kundalini serpent energy within you. The kriyas and meditations will bring slow and gradual changes to your mind, body, and every aspect of your life.

Strict discipline, austerity, and persistent effort along with serious dedication are required in order for the aspirant to reach higher on this path. No sudden changes and results can be expected. Vishuddhi Yoga does not teach the yogi bhajan style of Kundalini yoga. However, few methods and kriyas might bear similarities with yogi bhajan’s form of Kundalini yoga. Vishuddhi Yoga follows Yogananda and Shivanada Kriya Kundalini yoga lineages and also draw the teachings from traditional classical Hatha, Nada, and Mantra yoga systems.

Kriya Kundalini yoga is the safest and easiest method of awakening kundalini to start your personal spiritual evolution. This is most suitable for modern humans as it does not set any condition and strict rules in order to practice unlike other systems of yoga. There is no resistance but a gentle persistent effort to air your consciousness through visualization upon psychic centers within your pranic (energetic) body. There is no sudden disruptions but slow and smooth awakening in the process.

Each Kundalini and Tantra asana yoga series is done with a specific breathing technique that intensifies the effects of the poses with the purpose of freeing energy in the lower body and allowing it to move upwards within the chakras. Kundalini sequences (kriyas) may be done in conjunction with a designated breathing method (pranayamas) or holding a pose (locks) while breathing in a particular way.

The Kundalini yoga class begins with a short chant followed by a warm-up to stretch the spine and improve flexibility. The main focus is the practice of kriyas, which is a prescribed sequence of poses and pranayama which focuses on a precise area of the body. The class ends with a meditation, which is accompanied by the teacher singing closing mantra or prayer.
