The four weeks program, 200-hour yoga teacher training course, is designed to deeply root traditional Hatha yoga education for beginners and intermediate level yoga practitioners, so as to become able to teach yoga to the wider population after completion of the course. In practical classes of yoga asana, Pranayama, meditation, and cleansing, you will get the opportunity to deepen your learning about your body, mind, and soul. This crucial course will be your asset while teaching yoga to others!
During your yoga training program, you will be staying at Vashishth Guest House situated in Saint City, Rishikesh. The rooms are equipped with comfortable beds, night table, television, and a cooler fan for summer. You will have access to free Wi-Fi, hot and cold water. Every day cleaning facility is an added benefit.
The course exposes the participants to yoga philosophy, the theoretical understanding of yoga, yoga anatomy and physiology, detailed understanding of anatomical and physiological effects of the yogic practices upon practitioner’s body and mind, as well as practical classes on yoga asana, Pranayama, meditation, Kriya, Mudra, you Nidra (yogic sleep), and daily practice of yama, niyama and dhairya.
During your teacher training, you will also learn some Sanskrit verses (mantra) that not only work on your vocal cord but also create a connection with the supreme. Daily mantra chanting is a way we connect with God and this is the time our mind automatically relaxes and we find ourselves in complete peace. On completion of this course, you will be able to register yourself with Yoga Alliance USA as RYT 200. YA (USA) require you to have 100 hours of teaching experience to become a registered yoga instructor 200.
With deep study and understanding on Hatha yoga, Sivananda yoga, and Raja yoga, Yogacharya Vikash he has also studied and attended acupressure, naturopathy, intensive courses, and yoga therapy classes. This blend of yoga philosophy, yoga therapy, and practice has lead Vikash to acquire a good name in his teaching modality. With several years of teaching experience under the guidance of learned yogis in India, Vikash has escalated his insights of correcting and assisting yoga students.
Teaching Hatha yoga for over seven years, Mohan Panwar has earned his good name in motivating students with the utmost professionalism. He helps students gain an understanding of body alignment and asana. His passion for yoga is visible in the classes he takes, as his students find his classes highly effective. Yogi Mohan helps students plunge into what he has been teaching with enthusiasm and an open mind. Mohan has completed post graduate diploma in yoga from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University and a Master of Science in yoga from Uttrakhand Open University.
Miss Kavita Pillay worked as yoga Instructor in ANHC Goa and also worked as a yoga instructor in Lakshimibai National Institute of Physical Education, Gwalior for five years. She conducted theory, practical classes, and meditation for the P.G. Diploma and Graduation students in LNI. Her areas of specialization are asana, Pranayama, yoga Nidra and mantra chanting. Miss Pillay is a post Graduate and MPhil in Human Consciousness and Yogic Science, Rani Durgavati Vishwa Vidyalaya, Jabalpur, and has a Diploma in Naturopathy and Yogic Science, Mahatma Gandhi Chirtrakoot Gramiday Vishwa Vidyalaya.
During your yoga training, you will be staying in Rishikesh, the holy town on the way to four major pilgrimages and other hundreds of pilgrimages in Northern India. Rishikesh is another name of lord Vishnu, one of the three major Gods in Hinduism, who is considered as the preserver of all the living beings on earth. The tiny town seated on the lap of mountains and segmented into two parts by the gorgeous Ganges offers beautiful sight to nature lovers and tourists.
During your stay, you will be accommodated in Vashishtha Guest House. Yoga classes and food will be served at Hotel Yog Vashishtha, a few minutes away from your accommodation.
You will be served three daily vegetarian nourishing meals. If you are vegan or have any food allergies, you should inform the front desk upon arrival.
During your retreat you can spend your early mornings or evenings on the bank of the holy river Ganges or exploring the beautiful surrounding areas.

Please book your flight to arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). From there, take a flight to Dehradun Airport (DED), 15 kilometers to Rishikesh. Transfer to and from this airport is available upon request.
Take a train to Haridwar from New Delhi railway station. From Haridwar, there are many transport facilities available to reach Rishikesh.
From Gandhi International Airport (DEL) or from Dehradun Airport (DED), you can take a taxi to the venue. Rishikesh is a six-hour drive from Gandhi International Airport (DEL).
