During your yoga training program, you will be staying at Vashishth Guest House situated in Saint City, Rishikesh. The rooms are equipped with comfortable beds, night table, television, and a cooler fan for summer. You will have access to free Wi-Fi, hot and cold water. Every day cleaning facility is an added benefit.


Become a registered yoga instructor

The course exposes the participants to yoga philosophy, the theoretical understanding of yoga, yoga anatomy and physiology, detailed understanding of anatomical and physiological effects of the yogic practices upon practitioner’s body and mind, as well as practical classes on yoga asana, Pranayama, meditation, Kriya, Mudra, you Nidra (yogic sleep), and daily practice of yama, niyama and dhairya.

During your teacher training, you will also learn some Sanskrit verses (mantra) that not only work on your vocal cord but also create a connection with the supreme. Daily mantra chanting is a way we connect with God and this is the time our mind automatically relaxes and we find ourselves in complete peace. On completion of this course, you will be able to register yourself with Yoga Alliance USA as RYT 200. YA (USA) require you to have 100 hours of teaching experience to become a registered yoga instructor 200.

The holy city of Rishikesh

During your yoga training, you will be staying in Rishikesh, the holy town on the way to four major pilgrimages and other hundreds of pilgrimages in Northern India. Rishikesh is another name of lord Vishnu, one of the three major Gods in Hinduism, who is considered as the preserver of all the living beings on earth. The tiny town seated on the lap of mountains and segmented into two parts by the gorgeous Ganges offers beautiful sight to nature lovers and tourists.

During your stay, you will be accommodated in Vashishtha Guest House. Yoga classes and food will be served at Hotel Yog Vashishtha, a few minutes away from your accommodation.

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). From there, take a flight to Dehradun Airport (DED), 15 kilometers to Rishikesh. Transfer to and from this airport is available upon request.

Arrival by train

Take a train to Haridwar from New Delhi railway station. From Haridwar, there are many transport facilities available to reach Rishikesh.

Arrival by taxi

From Gandhi International Airport (DEL) or from Dehradun Airport (DED), you can take a taxi to the venue. Rishikesh is a six-hour drive from Gandhi International Airport (DEL).

  • Taxi from Gandhi International Airport (DEL) to accommodation costs approximately 70 USD
  • Taxi from Dehradun Airport (DED) to accommodation costs approximately 20 USD
