The coastal geography between Badia de Palma and Colònia de Sant Jordi has been protecting the area which is one of the least-developed ones of the island. Long parts of the coast are buffered by tall and nearly unshakable cliffs that defend the land against a rough sea and high waves during bad weather. As they may not always be within reach, they have always been mesmerizingly beautiful.

Behind the cliffs, the island houses intimate beaches and a magical nature. Mallorca's best beaches found their place in this area. Due to the existence of parks and natural areas and the proliferation of working farms and rural estates, this area has been kept free of from the worst excesses of over-development. It means that this is how Mallorca's coast originally used to look.

Colònia de Sant Jordi is the biggest southern beach resort causing it to have long been the summertime spot of choice for Palma residents. The streets are well-laid-out, making it easy to find your way to every part of the town. You will be staying in a calm and family friendly place surrounded by some of the most natural beaches on Mallorca.
