Pre-application requirements

This training is open to all levels of yoga experience, however, Well Daily recommends that you have a regular daily practice before beginning the training. You can join the course if you are completely new to yoga. Well Daily asks, however, that you spend some time studying a little bit about what it is you are getting into.

You can do this by reading books, attending yoga classes, and speaking to others who are practicing yoga regularly. Yoga is more than just exercise and being physically fit, it is a way of life. To practice yoga is to practice mindfulness and the purpose of the postures that have been popularized in the west so that a student can sit in meditative postures for longer periods of time.

You will be needing a laptop or computer with a stable Wi-Fi in order to access Zoom and LearnDash which will be used for the sessions as well as yoga props.


Students who complete their training before September 30, 2020 are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).

How the training works

Timing of sessions / daily schedule (UTC -08:00 and UTC -05:00)

You will have a total of four one-on-one check-in point sessions with your instructors which you will schedule with them upon enrolling. Approximately 25 hours will be self-study. A sample daily schedule can be found below:

Monday to Friday

  • 06:00 - 06:30 Herbal tea, nasal cleansing
  • 06:30 - 08:30 Pranayama, mantra chanting, and asana (Hatha yoga)
  • 08:30 Break
  • 09:30 - 10:10 Yoga philosophy
  • 10:10 Break
  • 10:30 - 11:10 Human Anatomy, Physiology, and yoga
  • 11:10 Break
  • 12:00 - 12:40 Teaching methods, alignment, and adjustments
  • 12:40 Break
  • 13:00 - 15:00 Ayurveda, satsang/mantra, meditation, and discussion
  • 15:00 - 17:00 Pranayama and asana (Ashtanga Vinyasa, Yoga Nidra, Ashtanga yoga)
  • 17:00 - 18:30 Self-study/kIRTAN (Tuesdays ONLY)

Saturday (Week 1 - 3)

  • 10:00 - 12:00 Video (Philosophy, Biomechanics, Yoga Psycho-Physiology)

Course information

This training offers high quality, engaging, and interactive content and is a 5-week intensive course. You will be taught a diverse range of teaching skills and have the opportunity to teach an online or live class to a group of students. You will be given access to Well Daily's online library of yoga-related books with more than 90 high-quality videos, including approximately 45 full-spectrum 90-120 minute yoga practices; 100 lectures covering all aspects of yoga history and philosophy, ethics, anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, adjustment, modifications, alignment, yogic lifestyle, and holistic business fundamentals.

This teacher training is held online. Well Daily is located in Vancouver, Canada, and they will live-stream yoga classes via Zoom at different times to suit timezones of both Pacific Standard Time (UTC -08:00) and Central Daylight Time (UTC -05:00), which you can participate from the comfort of your home. For this training, you will be needing yoga props and a laptop with Wi-Fi.
