World Peace Yoga School is taking care of their environment as much as they do about their students, so they keep it clean and bright. They have three yoga studios and a huge garden area available for students to practice yoga and meditation, so students immediately feel home after they arrive.

World Peace Yoga School is also one of the oldest, traditional yoga teachers training school in India that follows Himalayan yoga tradition, and one of the oldest yoga traditions in India. Everything will be close to you like your classes, the dining area, and café place in the school. Laundry services are also available at the building, even the parking area.

It's very easy and cheap to find laundry services in Rishikesh for your laundry. Laundry services are available through the school. However, many students wash their own clothes and there are areas to hang your clothes for drying.

World Peace Yoga School is in Laxman Jhula Street, where you can find everything you need, just like shops, restaurants, ATM, healthcare, bike rentals, etcetera. World Peace Yoga School is a well-equipped yoga teachers training school which is clean and cozy with Wi-Fi access, hot shower, water-heaters, and filtered drinking water system. It features well-secured 24/7 CCTV cameras.

You will have options to choose between shared accommodation and private accommodation. Shared accommodation includes two single beds shared by two students. Bathing shower and water heater, western toilets, and wardrobe are available in the rooms as well as unlimited free internet access and intercom all day. Bed sheets, pillows, and towels are also provided for you.

Private accommodation includes a nice balcony with a stunning mountains view. The rooms are new, big, and bright. You'll have a wardrobe, a big-size bed, 24/7 hot shower, water heater, and unlimited internet access and intercom. Bed sheets, pillows, and towels are also provided.

At World Peace Yoga School, they offer many important and useful services for students during your yoga retreat. World Peace Yoga School provides accommodation for a student who joins yoga classes. So any friends or relatives will not be included in the accommodation.

Seven chakras

In a human body, there is an existence of seven prominent chakras or Kundalinis as depicted in Patanjali Yogasutra, the most ancient and systematic form of yoga literature. These chakras are (from the base layer to the supreme):

  • Ajnya
  • Sahashrara

Muladhara

The root chakra or the base of the physical and spiritual existence of a human body is known as the Muladhara. This is the base which connects the three major qualities of a soul such as sattva (harmonious balance), rajas (active qualities), and tamas (lethargic quality). This chakra or Kundalini is considered to be present at the root of the spine, making a direct bond between the soul and the body. This is the base chakra over which all other six layers of chakras rest their presence. This chakra is considered as the storehouse of energy in a phase of static unless and until the chakras are awakened and energy is rooted upward to attain a higher state of trance.

Swadhistan

This Kundalini chakra is considered to exist just over the Muladhara and the center of all procreative energy. This is also harmonious with the sexual and reproductive energy center which can form live on this earth. This is also one of the most disturbed chakras of a human which cause high inclination towards sexual desires. This Kundalini upon awakening can offer a greater control over sexual desires and can take the Brahma beej (the seeds of supremacy) to a much higher state.

Manipura

The third Kundalini chakra, Manipura, is known as the seat of power which is present just below the naval region. This is the place where the sense of personal identity is present. This is the control center of physiological and physical well-being and has a great impact on the flow of fire and energy in a human body.

Anahata

Ajnya (the third eye)

Sahashrara (a thousand petals)

Silence

In general, World Peace Yoga School asks all guests to speak less and stay as much as possible in silence to create the space to go deeper within. There are also specific moments of silence which are from the morning meditation up until breakfast, during all meals, and after 21:00.
