Join Yandara Yoga Institute for your 300-hour advanced certification. This program offers an in-depth experience of the many facets of yoga and the art of teaching from the heart! Their experienced and inspiring teaching crew will help you elevate your teaching skills to new levels of effectiveness. Choose to complete your 300 hours through this comprehensive program focused on deepening your sequencing and teaching methodology along with yogic philosophy and lifestyle. This program adds an additional 300 hours to your 200-hour certificate and upon completion, you will be eligible for the Yoga Alliance 500-hour registration.
Many yogis that attend Yandara's YTT choose to stay in furnished tents. These are big tents, each with a twin-size bed, a small set of drawers, and a lamp. Bed linens are provided, but not towels. Comfortable and still close to nature. Yandara likes to call it comfort camping. For couples, there is a larger tent with a larger bed. There are 7 bathrooms and 7 showers on the campus.
These are Yandara's newest accommodations. Beautiful cotton canvas safari tents with a plush full-size mattress and bed. These tents will make your stay truly memorable. Towels, down comforters, and linen bedding are included. For couples, a larger tent with a larger queen-size bed can be offered. These are available in a limited number. The Yandara cabana has a full-size bed. This cabana has a private bathroom.
Students who complete their training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).
Tap your inner source of wisdom and energy during this 28-day 300-hour yoga teacher training immersion. This is a complete immersion in the Yandara Yoga lifestyle, it offers all the hours you need for your 300-hour certification. You will go deep into each of Patanjali’s Eight Limbs of Yoga as you build on the knowledge from your 200-hour certification.
Yandara believes that being a great yoga teacher means having a deep understanding and experience of all aspects of yoga, it is a lifestyle and a commitment to being authentically you, on and off the mat. During this immersion program, you will dive further into asana, pranayama, mudra, bandha, the energetics of sequencing, meditation, and more.
Yandara’s 300-hour training is Yoga Alliance approved. They welcome all serious yogis and teachers who are interested in further study, even if you don’t intend to complete a 300-hour certification. For those who have completed a 200-hour certification program, this program offers a 500-hour registry through Yoga Alliance.
The program is limited to 24 students ensuring personal care and attention. Graduates that have previously completed a 200-hour Yoga Alliance approved teacher training program will be eligible for the Yoga Alliance 500-hour Yoga Teacher Registry.
This program offers you to complete all your 300 hours in one go. This 28-day advanced program follows the eight limbs of yoga and is focused on the advanced techniques and sequencing of traditional Hatha yoga, Vinyasa yoga, pranayama and meditation. You also explore other areas of study, such as Kundalini yoga, Bhakti yoga and Ayurveda. A strong focus is on offering personal feedback for you to evolve your teaching skills and become the best teacher you can be.
With this in mind, you continue to unravel the 3 parts that make up a living yoga practice:

In addition to the contact hours you are required to do independent study. The guidelines will be attached to your welcome letter.

After diving deep into various styles over many years, Nicolina has found two traditions that she holds particularly close to her heart: Traditional Tantric Hatha yoga and Kundalini yoga. The inner peace, spiritual experiences, and physical healing she has gained through these practices has led to a passion to share the teachings. Traditional Tantric Hatha yoga, rooted in the Krishnamacharya lineage, includes the practices of Asana, Pranayama, Bandha, Mudra, Visualization, Kriya, Mantra, the science of the Chakras, Ayurveda and Kundalini.
Christopher is the co-founder of Yandara and has over 20 years of meditation and yoga practice, his presence inspires those around him to enter their hearts and connect to their truest potential. Christopher has the gift to bring his students through fun and challenging flow sequences while cultivating the shared awareness that is yoga. His style is dynamic and intuitive, mixing creative movement with a powerful asana practice. Christopher’s passion for yoga philosophy and yoga psychology is a part of his daily life and weaves naturally into his teachings.
Mercy Ananda (M. A., E-RYT 500) is a highly trained yoga teacher trainer and mantra musician, as well as a certified sound healer. She performs on the many kirtan albums produced by the Mount Madonna Center, Hanuman Fellowship. She is a member of the Sacred Sound Choir with Karuna Ault and chants on their "Mahamrityunjaya Healing Mantra" album. Mercy also performs on many other kirtan albums including the "Shri Ram Jaya Ram" album by Shri Anandi Ma. Mercy has a daily yoga sadhana of asana, pranayama, mudra, meditation, and mantra.
This program will take place in Todos Santos which is in Baja California Sur.
The Yandara Yoga Teacher Training program is located in their beautiful home campus in Baja California, Mexico. With the vast Pacific Ocean on one side and a majestic mountain range on the other, you gather for heartfelt yoga and meditation, delicious vegetarian meals, evening live music, and yogic philosophy.
The natural setting of this teacher training in Mexico is as much a part of your experience as the yoga instruction itself. This secluded Baja, Mexico location offers stunning beachfront vistas featuring open-air studios to keep you in touch with your surroundings and all the beauty that nature has to share.
These comfortable outdoor settings take advantage of the warm temperatures that Mexico offers drawing from its natural beauty, you are encouraged to connect with your surroundings while you also connect with those you are on this journey with.
Yandara's staff has refined the process of integrating yoga training within this natural setting being mindful that your environment is integral to your learning process. Away from your hectic everyday life, you’ll discover an inner peace with the mountains at your back and the warmth of the soft sea breeze on your face. Their approach is all about teaching yoga from the heart. This setting and approach helps cultivate a love of yoga, your students, and yourself.
Drawing upon Mexican heritage, your dining experience will also feature an internationally influenced menu. A menu choice is rarely ever repeated and focuses on fresh, local organic ingredients.
Yandara cultivates fresh kitchen herbs and vegetables in their own organic garden, where students are always welcome. There are papayas, bananas, oranges, and mangos in their orchard. Special to this Baja trainings are baked potato days with fresh finely chopped garden herbs (fresh dill, chives, rosemary, basil and thyme), fresh local Dorado with garden basil pesto, garden beet and chard salad with balsamic dressing and samosas with garden fresh parsley/cilantro chutney.
1-2 days a week will include an extended break to explore the local area. You may choose from a variety of local attractions. A few favorites are Todos Santos which is just a short 20-minute drive away, designated as a Pueblo Mexico (“magic town”), this town features art galleries, historic buildings, and the very best in local restaurants.
Nearby, you will also find the renowned surfer beach Los Cerritos and the world-famous sandy beaches of Cabo San Lucas.
You will be able to book a massage or a Reiki session on location, for an extra cost.

If you wish to join the shared transfer from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), please try to schedule your flight between 11:00 and 17:00 on the start day of your course or stay. If you need to book a flight outside that time window, it is not a problem. Yandara will arrange for you to be picked up by a private car. The cost is 120 USD.
You may take a bus from San Diego to Tijuana, Mexico, and another bus to La Paz.
