This is a quite unique combination of an in-depth Yin yoga therapy teacher training with all the basic yoga background of a traditional Yoga Alliance affiliated 200 hours training and the immersion into the Yin side of yoga. For an embodied experience of the theory behind the practice, students will have the opportunity to teach from the second week onwards. Stretched over four weeks, there is time to practice teaching and the student will leave this training feeling confident to lead a Yin yoga therapy class.
Yin yoga waves all layers of your being -body, energy, and mind - into a seamless whole, allowing a sublime experience of stillness and peace. The stillness of the long-held static stretches with relaxed muscles in Yin Yoga allows the space for awareness and the opportunity to reveal and release deep layers of tension held within your fascia. Yin yoga therapy also explains ways to emotional healing and the releasing of energetic blockages in the poses. As you put your bodies in certain positions different meridian energy streams get stimulated and you activate your body’s own healing powers.
The healing wisdom of the Daoist philosophy and the Meridians provides insight and guidance for your practice and your teaching. You will get to know all the basics of a classical 200 hours yoga teacher training and embark on a journey through all the Taoist elements and their healing wisdom, learn about the ancient tradition of the acupuncture Meridians and Chi flow in the body. Find out more about their subconscious value and the applied body acupressure points and Yin yoga poses to help balance those.
When you awaken and align your body’s underlying energy, you activate your innate process of healing and transformation. Yin yoga will help you create profound shifts in your physical and emotional well-being through the subtle body. Yin yoga therapy will demystify how energy affects everything you do and feel - and show you how to work with your body and mind. Energy work isn’t as esoteric as you may think. You will learn simple principles, tools, and practices that balance your subtle body which is how physical, emotional, and spiritual healing begins so you can build vitality, unravel energetic blockages and boost your immunity.
By the end of this course, you will feel stronger, healthier, and better able to thrive and flow in the life you are meant to live. You will get to know more about additional tools and different meditation techniques to support this process. Yin yoga therapy offers you an insight into the power of visualization and breath, Yoga Nidra, mantras, Mudras, and Chakras. There will be different meditations, acupuncture healing sessions, and chanting circles.
To complete a basic understanding of yoga in all its variations you will look into the anatomy of the muscular and skeletal body, in the Ayurvedic Dosha system and share different aspects of yoga philosophy and foundations like the eight limbs and Patanjali’s yoga sutras. In Circles of Transformation, Yin Yoga Therapy Teacher Training creates a safe space to connect and share. Together, they open the gates to a long-lasting transformation.

Ubud is Bali’s prominent art center, famous for its painter’s community. But Ubud is special in more ways than one. You will find emerald green rice fields in the stunning central Balinese foothills, the village also used to be the center for medicinal sources. It has its own magic and its particularly beautiful surroundings and gracious way of life have drawn travelers and artists from all over the world in recent decades; some have even adopted Ubud as their own home.
The magic is easy to find - just take a walk south of the village through its terraced paddy fields to the monkey forest. Freshwater spouts out of the sheer rock at the base of the ravine, and a bath in a secluded, shady spot is purifying. The resort is a one-hour drive from the Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) and a 15-minute drive from the Ubud Monkey Forest and nearby places like hospitals, clinics, restaurants, and museums, and art galleries.
During this training, you will be served daily vegan meals. Vegan of Chi is Suly's restaurant, offering a range of delicious Indonesian-inspired vegan dishes in a setting that overlooks lush greenery and offers total tranquility. Yin Yoga Therapy Teacher Training has a love for a conscious lifestyle, therefore their offered food is always fresh and pure, as organic as possible, mostly vegan with some vegetarian and gluten-free options (for all of the courses). If you have any specific requirements (especially allergies for example, nut allergy) please let them know in your application so they can prepare to accommodate that.
