Welcome to an amazing nature spot! The classes are mostly held at the beautiful jungle shala of the center with the natural shade of the surrounding trees. For the evening session, you move to the hilltop lounge from where you have the most amazing view overlooking one of Goa's most beautiful beaches. It is actually the best spot to watch every day how spectacularly the sun kisses the sea for sunset.
It’s really peaceful in the jungle on a little hilltop but not too far away so you can walk everywhere around town. Within just a walk away you are able to find a little bit of everything, empty stretches of beach but also you can get a little taste of the vibrant Goan multicultural scene.
Every cottage has a private terrace, often with a stunning sea-view. The air-conditioned rooms are provided with mini fridge and hot water kettle, private bathrooms with showers, cold and hot water, WC. You will find an infinity swimming-pool on the hilltop of the resort from where you can overlook the beautiful Morjim-Ashvem beach, which is only a short walk away.
In the extended neighborhood there are a few shops and a small but exquisite range from local eateries to lovely bakeries, cafes and sublime restaurants, lots to discover for your day off. The team is always available to help you out and about.
It is fairly easy to get there, but to make sure you find the right spot you will be provided with all the information on how to make your way safely to Morjim and the team is happy to offer your airport pick-up complementary! Dabolim Airport is approximately one hour drive away.

For an embodied experience of the theory behind the practice, students will have the opportunity to teach from the second week onwards. Stretched over 4 weeks there is time to practice teaching and the student will leave this training feeling confident to lead a yin yoga therapy class.
Yin Yoga waves all layers of our being -body, energy and mind- into a seamless whole, allowing a sublime experience of stillness and peace. The stillness of the long-held static stretches with relaxed muscles in Yin Yoga allows the space for awareness and the opportunity to reveal and release deep layers of tension held within your fascia.
Yin Yoga Therapy also explains you ways to emotional healing and the releasing of energetic blockages in the poses. As we put our bodies in certain positions different meridian energy streams get stimulated and we activate our body’s own healing powers. The healing wisdom of the Daoist philosophy and the Meridians provides insight and guidance for your practice and your teaching.
You will get to know all the basics of a classical 200hrs yoga teacher training and embark on a journey through all the Taoist elements and their healing wisdom, learn about the ancient tradition of the Acupuncture Meridians and Chi flow in the body. Find out more about their subconscious value and the applied body acupressure points and Yin Yoga poses to help balance those.

Yin Yoga Therapy will demystify how energy affects everything you do and feel—and show you how to work with your body and mind. Energy work isn’t as esoteric as you may think. You will learn simple principles, tools, and practices that balance your subtle body—which is how physical, emotional and spiritual healing begins—so you can build vitality, unravel energetic blockages, and boost your immunity. By the end of this course, you will feel stronger, healthier, and better able to thrive and flow in the life you are meant to live.
You will get to know more about additional tools and different meditation techniques to support this process. Yin Yoga Therapy offers you insight into the power of visualization and breath, Yoga Nidra, Mantras, Mudras and Chakras. There will be different meditations, acupuncture healing sessions, and chanting circles.
To complete a basic understanding of yoga in all its variations you will look into the anatomy of the muscular and skeletal body, in the Ayurvedic Dosha system and share different aspects of yoga philosophy and foundations like the eight limbs and Patanjali's yoga sutras.

With successful completion of the training students will receive a Yoga Alliance affiliated Yoga Teacher Training Certificate from The Body-Mind-Soul Centre (RYS) AND a Yin Yoga Therapy Training Diploma as a component of Alexandra Denkinger M.D.(ACU) physical therapy practice, licensed and registered as Doctor of Medicine in Acupuncture M.D.(ACU) by the Indian Board of Alternative Medicine, affiliated with Yoga Alliance as a registered yoga teacher (RYT 500) and owner of The Body-Mind-Soul Centre (RYS 200).

Alexandra Denkinger is an acupuncture therapist (M.D.Acu), yoga teacher (RYT500), Yin yoga expert, and founder of The Body-Mind-Soul Centre (registered school with Yoga Alliance). She likes to see herself Body-Mind-Soul Bio-Hacker, an "urban shaman", dedicated to helping people empower themselves to live the most authentic, healthy life possible. As an all-time seeker on a soul-searching journey, she came across many different yoga styles and healing systems. In her Yin yoga teachings, she integrates the ancient wisdom of acupuncture meridians and chi flow in meditative yoga practice.
