The Venue

Welcome to an amazing nature spot!

It’s really peaceful in the jungle on a little hilltop but not too far away so you can walk everywhere around town. Within just a walk away you are able to find a little bit of everything, empty stretches of the beach but also you can get a little taste of the vibrant Goan multicultural scene.

Every cottage has a private terrace, often with a stunning sea-view. The air-conditioned rooms are provided with mini-fridge and hot water kettle, private bathrooms with showers, cold and hot water, WC. You will find an infinity swimming-pool on the hilltop of the resort from where you can overlook the beautiful Morjim-Ashvem beach, which is only a short walk away.

In the extended neighborhood there are a few shops and a small but exquisite range from local eateries to lovely bakeries, cafes and sublime restaurants, lots to discover for your day off. Our team is always available to help you out and about. It is fairly easy to get there, but to make sure you find the right spot you will be provided with all the information on how to make your way safely to Morjim and the organizer is happy to offer your airport pick-up complementary! Dabolim Airport is approximately one hour drive away.

There is a beautiful jungle shala where you will be practicing in the natural shade of the surrounding trees. Some session are held at the hilltop lounge from where you have the most amazing view overlooking one of Goas most beautiful beaches. It is the best spot in all of Morjim-Ashvem to watch how spectacularly the sun kisses the sea for sunset.

The Body-Mind-Soul Centre is an RYS registered school with Yoga Alliance and we are honored to collaborate with teachers from a wonderful diverse and experienced background.

The ethos of the Body-Mind-Soul Centre is to apply the teachings and practices of the yoga tradition to go on an exploration to investigate the relationship of our body, mind, and soul. They acknowledge that every student and teacher has his or her own unique presence, energy, and teaching style. The Body-Mind-Soul Centre provides an ideal environment for learning and a practice process, where yoga teacher training courses are presented and practiced in depth.

With successful completion of the training you will receive a Yin Yoga Therapy Training Certificate as a component of Alexandra Denkinger M.D.(Acu) physical therapy practice, licensed and registered as Doctor of Medicine in Acupuncture M.D.(ACU) by the Indian Board of Alternative Medicine, affiliated with Yoga Alliance as a registered yoga teacher (RYT 500).

With successful completion you receive:

Yin Yoga is simple, but not easy. Sometimes being still is the hardest of all asana. The stillness of the floor-based, long held static stretches (with relaxed muscles) create the space to practice mindfulness and cultivate awareness.

We embrace our own physical limitations rather than trying to fight against them and work with the body just as it is, and that in and of itself is an amazing thing. We are practicing acceptance, surrendering to gravity, connecting our body to a Zen state of mind.

Goa has become a well-visited winter getaway where yoga is celebrated and spiritual activities are on a daily schedule: sunrise yoga sessions on the beach, reiki healing courses, meditation, and just about every other form of spiritual exploration, are all practised freely.

There a few options to come to Goa, the best one is a flight to Dabolim Airport which is near the capital of Goa, Panjim (IATA: GOI, ICAO: VOGO).

Pick-up from the airport is included in the course fee.
