Beautifully located on the banks of Bhagirathi River and in the lap of Himalaya, Yoga Bhawna Mission(Uttarkashi) is 4 kilometers before hustle bustle and traffic jams of Uttarkashi town. Our Ashram have 18 luxury rooms that are river facing and have all modern amenities. All the rooms have queen size beds, air-conditioning, LCD TV, hot geysers in the toilets. The accommodation provided at Yoga Bhawna Mission is on sharing basis. However, in special cases, Yoga Bhawna Mission will provide single occupancy-based accommodation under terms and conditions.
This ashram with its 16 luxury camps ensures optimum comfort for the yogi and yoga practice. The experience and facilities provided in the ashram is superior to that of any hotel or resort in the surrounding.
This is full-time regular residential course, extended over period of four weeks. It will be conducted six days in a week. The Course aims to prepare an effective Yoga Teacher to the trainees. This is a typical professional beginner course and someone who wants to peruse his/her professional yoga training can enroll for this course. Upon successful completion of this course the student will be awarded with 200 hour TTC certificate affiliated form yoga alliance which later can be produced for the further advance yoga studies for 300 and 500 hour of certificate.
The trainees need to understand role and significance of yogic attitude and yogic lifestyle in life. Keeping above aims in mind, the syllabus of the course incorporates all components of the basics of yoga, yogic practices, and its teaching method. In this course, which spans over the period of four weeks, resulting in a total 200 hours of teachings in yoga. The duration of the course is four weeks. The classes will be held from Monday till Saturday. Sunday will be Off day and will be for excursions as per optional activity.
During this Yoga Teacher Training the students are continuously assessed throughout the course at all levels. There will be a practical test to evaluate the understanding and skills of the students.
An internationally accepted certificate will be given from YOGA BHAWNA MISSION certified by Yoga Alliance International USA upon completion of training
This 200-hour yoga teacher training course certification is accessible for anyone who is interested in deepening their yoga practice. YOGA BHAWNA MISSION is a registered yoga school (RYS) with Yoga Alliance which designates this teacher training program as one which follows Yoga Alliance's standards.
At YOGA BHAWNA MISSION , student have an opportunity to spend one hour daily to the nearby surrounding , our ashram is just adjacent to Bhagirathi river and Yamuna river and one can have privilege to practice on the bank of river or in the lap of forest and mountain. You are guided by our resident team on alternate Sunday for the mountain walk followed by village walk/trekking and river walk and outdoor game such as Volleyball.

Yogi Naveen Pandey holds a degree in yogic sciences. He has been awarded his doctorate from DevSanskriti University as he worked on “Yoga in Kashmir Saivism and Patanjali’s System; A Study in Interaction”. In his research work, he emphasizes on yoga in Tantric scheme of Kashmir Saiva philosophy. He specializes in Tantra, philosophy, and oriental studies.

Yamuna flowing as its main course, Ganga water emerging out of the ganga kund (cold water spring) merges with Yamuna and a stream of Kedar Ganga confluences with the Yamuna. (the source of kedar ganga is said to be from where river Saraswati emerges).

The price of this retreat includes all daily meals. They are strictly vegetarian, freshly prepared, dietary-balanced, and recommended for yoga. The Yoga Bhawna Missions kitchen is designed to cater the needs of all kinds of students. In general, Yoga Bhawna Mission provides three meals a day with two tea breaks. There is a mix of people from all over the world, so Yoga Bhawna Mission is flexible in customizing meals. Because Yoga Bhawna Mission understands you and your taste buds, serving is per your requirements. All you need to do is specify in advance your tastes and preference.
Choose from a variety of activities (other than yoga!) from tribal village visit, culture tour, trekking, temple visit, horseback riding, learning how to surf, to a more relaxing dip in the hot springs( At Barkot Ashram), soothing massage or spa treatment or spend some time soaking up the sun on the beach. Start each morning with a sun salutation and end each day with a deep meditation; it's all up to you! Participate in each yoga class, and add in some of your own personal sessions away from any distractions. Please book your flight to arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), where you can take a domestic flight into Jolly Grant Airport (DED). Transfer from and to the airport is included. Yoga Bhawna Mission escort will pick you up from the airport.
You can book Shatabdi express train which runs every day from New Delhi to Dehradun railways station, it is advised to inform Yoga Bhawna Team in advance so that instead of you Yoga Bhawna Team travel desk will assist you for booking railway ticket for your smooth arrival followed by escorted guide.
You can either comes to Deharadun or Rishikesh from New Delhi and it is strongly advise to inform Yoga Bhawna Team in advance so that they can help you while arranging bus ticket from New Delhi and can escort you from Bus stand to avoid any confusion. Yoga Bhawna Mission dedicated travel desk will assist you while booking your bus ticket. Please note that if you are coming from New Delhi by bus then ideally you should get down to Dehradun but if you want to come to Rishikesh then you need to advise us in advance so that we can arrange pickup from Rishikesh with nominal extra charge.
If you are more adventurous and wants to explore by you own from New Delhi airport to Dehardun or Rishikesh then please follow below instruction.
Depending on the time your plane arrives in Delhi, taking a bus can be a tricky option. The Volvo buses from Delhi to Dehradun stop running around 8:00 p.m. If your plane arrives in Delhi in the evening, you will have to get a hotel for the night and then make your way to Delhi ISBT (inter-state bus terminus) in the morning.
From the airport, get a prepaid taxi to take you to Delhi ISBT. You are strongly advised to only go to the government-approved taxi stand located right outside the airport exit. The price from the Delhi airport to Delhi ISBT will be 500 INR.
Once you arrive at Delhi ISBT, navigate your way to the bus station’s ticket stands on the second level (go up the escalator). Go to the Uttarakhand State booth and ask when the next Volvo bus will be leaving for Dehradun. The bus ticket approximately costs between 300 to 400 INR.
You should get off the bus at Dehradun bus station, which is usually their last stop if their destination is Dehradun.
Once you arrive at Dehradun bus station our escort will coordinate with you as per email communication and name card.
