The Barkot resort has 16 luxury camps that ensure optimum comfort accommodation in spacious all-weather proof luxury camps with attached bathrooms and toilets, running hot and cold water, a multi cuisine dining facilities serving sumptuous vegetarian wholesome food, hot water bottles as sun down service, kettle with complimentary tea and coffee provisions, specialized evening turn down service with daily morning cleaning, and views of the mystique Himalayas.
All the rooms will be airy and ventilated, however the rooms are not equipped with air conditioning.
Co-founder of Yoga Bhawna Mission , Bhawna Bhargava has been practicing yoga for over 15 years. Native to India, she started learning yoga at the age of 9.Her formal training started in 2004 at the Royal Palace School in Jaipur, India.Inspired by the experience, completed her TTC at Yoga Passage in Calgary folowed by Ashtanga training from India.Specializing on breath work Pranayama,Yoga Nidra and Meditation she continues to train and teach workshops at various events in western Canada .Her most recent endeavor has brought her back to India as a Co-founder and teacher at Yoga Bhawna Mission.
Kontey competencies is in ashtanga hatha yoga, vinyasa style, training different styles of yoga program with specialized in senior/kids yoga. Through with patanjali,ashtanga, hatha, hot yoga (bikramyoga)and vinyasa yoga styles having visual & creative abilities, he has also created and demonstrated 108 different variations in sun salutations.

About Rishikesh : Rishikesh also known as the world capital of yoga, Rishikesh has numerous yoga centers, as it believed that meditation here brings one closer to attainment of moksha. According to Hindú mythology, lord Rama did penance to kill the demon king Ravana and where "Lakshman Jhula" stands today, the place was one time crossed by lord Rama’s younger brother Lakshmana, using a jute rope bridge.
Yoga Bhawna Mission resort at Barkot is conveniently located on Yamunotri highway, five kilometers ahead of Barkot town on the way to Yamunotri, situated by the bank of sacred river Yamuna. You will relish the incredible charm and unparalleled beauty of the great Himalayas ranges, the Bandar poonch peaks, the gigantic Yamuna river flowing through, and enjoy a dip into the holy Ganga Kund water at the resort campus.
During this teacher training, you will be served three daily meals. Continental and regional Indian cuisine food is served depending the preference of the guest. Vegetarian wholesome food will also be available. The kitchen is designed keeping the view of needs and likes of all kinds of students and participants.
In general, the resort provides three meals a day with two breaks of tea. They have a mix of citizen from the entire world, so they are flexible in customizing the meals. All you need to do is specify in advance, while registering, your taste buds and preferences.
Professional masseurs will be available at the resort in case you want to book a massage for an additional cost.
Please book your flight to arrive at Jolly Grant Airport (DED). The organizer will pick you up from the airport. The pick-up is included in the price.
You may take a train to Haridwar or Rishikesh. Train station pick up from either of the two stations is available on request."
