Program

Yoga Collective Nosara's curriculum is highly developed and incorporating many varieties of yoga and yogic tradition. The directors each bring 20 years of inquiry on the path of yoga making the program a truly collective experience based program where participants can explore their yoga and develop as a yoga educator.

All three directors were trained with the Nosara Yoga Institute as 500-hour E-RYT yoga educators, who has an interdisciplinary / Vinyasa and Therapeutic based approach to yoga. Nosara Yoga also offers 1000-hour training which all three directors have received. Forming the Yoga Collective of Nosara brings the unique experiences of Daya, Julian, and Yali into this training.

The program is geared to develop and deepen your personal yoga practice while empowering you to share it with others through skillfully led daily classes exposing you to be exposed to the wisdom and diversity of many yogic traditions and styles, daily theory, practice teaching, group work, and individual study in a supportive, nurturing, and sacred group setting.

From the basics of yogic philosophy to a deeper understanding of the yogic inner pursuits, the interdisciplinary approach will encourage all participants in a nurturing and sacred environment. Group work, individual study, and practice teaching will give you the confidence and necessary preparation to continue a personal or professional path in the yogic arts. Along with all the twists and turns on your yogic journey - and transformation process - you will be fully supported by a dedicated team.

The curriculum covers the essential eight limbs of Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, Hatha asana practice, Qi Gong and natural movements, inspired breathwork, and ecstatic meditation. Yoga Collective Nosara has a devoted Kundalini practitioner to share gems from this highly-developed system which dovetails into and diverges from the traditional yogic study. Your experience will be colored with modern thought and insight to truly push you into a place of personal inquiry and discovery.

Abdominal massage cupping for release and weight loss

Curled up inside the abdomen is approximately 22 feet of small intestine, leading to five feet of large intestine. Layers of plaque build-up throughout the length of the intestinal tract, and then compact and harden. NASA research scientists have discovered traces of mother’s milk in adult colons, indicating that many people carry impacted fecal matter in their colons all their lives.

A healthy colon contains residual friendly bacteria that weigh up to five pounds; encrusted colons have been at autopsy to weigh 40 pounds or more. Sometimes there is so much putrid matter that parts of the colon expand from two point (five inches in diameter) to an obscene (10 to 20 inches in very obese people).

The colon can become permanently toxic and all manner of health problems result as these poisons seep into your bloodstream and find their way to all parts of the body. If you consume or have ever consumed meat, poultry, fish, dairy products, sugar, processed food, chocolate, caffeine, soft drinks, or alcohol, then you will certainly have mucoid plaque and benefit from abdominal massage and detoxification.

The cupping helps:

  • Clear colon blockages
  • Break down fatty deposits
  • Encourage blood and body fluid movement in the bowels and internal organs
  • Soothe the nervous system
  • Release inner emotions
  • Promote digestion
  • Relieve indigestion or heartburn

With regular abdominal cupping, there is an increase in digestive secretions that enhances peristaltic movement. Cupping will improve appetite, digestion, bile flow and metabolism, aid in the treatment of distension and acidity, help with conception, relieve constipation, and promote regularity of the bowels. Many clients experience expelling an excess amount of waste shortly after treatments and also a significant increase of eliminations throughout their day.

The prices are:

  • Single session (80 US)
  • 10 sessions (580 USD)
  • 20 sessions (1,000 USD

Yogurt will soften the skin, remove skin debris, and also fights acne. You will leave your facial feeling youthful and with a soft glow. The price for the facial treatments is 80 USD for one hour.

After the body mask is applied, you are cocooned by local banana leaves. Get wrapped up and relax for about 20 minutes to keep the body and skin warm.
