"Excellent retreat"

Mar was great host, made delicious food and his yoga classes felt very relaxed. I really like the location as it was in the middle of rice fields which made really peaceful and relaxing.

"Amazing and Personal Retreat "

Mar was wonderful, very accomadating and personable. From the start, he picks you up and makes you feel very welcome. Yoga house has a laid back hippy vibe. The accommodations are basic, but it is a great space in the country with beautiful views.

Depending on your preference, you can do yoga once or twice a day. He adjusts the lesson to your level and makes sure you get all the postures just right. Different styles of meditation are built into the lessons. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and loves sharing his passion. A bit of humor mixed in is a bonus.

Mar is also a professor of traditional Thai massage and a lesson is included in the retreat. A bonus is you get a massage yourself during this time. I felt very comfortable as our group of four went through the history and method of this tradition and extremely relaxed afterwards.

All meals are suited to your preferences, healthy, and delicious. Mar presents them beautifully with flowers and local fauna. He even teaches you how to cook some traditional dishes such as pad Thai and gave me a tour of the local market.

The excursion was fun and again catered to my preferences. I didn’t have much interest in the waterfall, so Mar suggested the Ganesh museum. There, Mar explained the Gods of Hinduism and their histories. Then, we went to see elephants. My only idea for improvement would be to visit an elephant site at which the elephants were less restricted.

Overall, a wonderful experience!

"Yoga and a smile"

Mar is an wonderfully silly man who makes living in the country eating vegan food and doing yoga, one of the most exciting adventures on your travels. I had a blast and learned a great deal of yoga. That’s for your help Mar!
