Yoga I Am organizes themed yoga and meditation retreats and training. This particular yoga teacher training focuses on Kriya yoga and Chakra energy. The month-long course aims at training you at India, by teaching different yoga techniques and practices. Thru the silent retreat, you will develop an eye for alignment and master how to make verbal cues and safe and smart hands-on adjustments.
During this retreat, you will be staying in a duplex house set on a small private road leading to the two famous white beaches, Cala Lleyna and Cala Mastella. In the garden grounds around the duplex house you can sit and meditate, swing on a hammock, or rock gently on a Balinese bed.
The accommodation is simple with a homely ashram feel. The full style of Yoga I Am is that of a completely transforming yoga ashram, that will leave you rejuvenated and will refresh your mind, body and soul.
On the first floor there is shared accommodation between five guests and a private kitchen and bathroom. There are also two private rooms with their own balcony while on the ground floor, there are two single beds in a shared room. The indoor yoga area looks over into the garden terrace in the winter. In summer, you will do yoga on the roof with sea views.
Ashrams usually represent a return to a simpler way of living, which is very different to a hotel. Generally there is a more communal atmosphere and often an expectation that guests will pitch in with whatever needs doing.
A lot of information and practice is given in the four weeks and the main topics covered will be a are mix of raja, gyana and sattvic aspects of yoga practices:
Silence will be used throughout the training, from 21:00 until 11:30 most of the days. It offers a dimension of formless space on your yoga teacher training, and paves an inner awareness to intuitive learning beyond the technical, which is also yoga. In addition, you will use breathing kriya everyday to energize the astral body and to be the state of a healer at all times this will be done daily for 20 minutes in the morning, just before lunch session.
