Pre-course preparation

The pre-course preparation is designed so that all of the students can arrive on day one, all on the same page, ready to go, knowing what to expect. YogaFX recommends their students target a minimum of 20 hours of pre-course preparation and up to say 30 hours.

Your online pre-course preparation before you arrive in Manchester will include the following:

Once the online pre-course preparation has been completed, you will be fully prepared, confident, and excited to join in Manchester for 8 nights of very dynamic, interactive, enjoyable yoga teacher training practical experience.

Hot yoga teacher training

Do you wake up in the morning with a buzzing alarm and say, "Here you go again." Perform a hectic morning routine before leaving the house and rush off to work with three cups of coffee. Not really an ideal way to start your day. So, if you happen to join, what they don’t want is that you wake up at 06:00 and have to run down to start a two-hour intensive yoga class at 06:30 or 07:00 on an empty stomach. After the class has finished, rush back to your room, shower, change, and run down to breakfast before it closes at 10:00. This is not the most useful or pleasant way to start your day. Your body and mind are already under stress from all of your new stimuli.

RYSs be up to two and a half hours long. If the teacher is talking too much, the large majority of the students are not physically or mentally prepared to be immersed in this completely different environment. This results in low energy, low concentration, mood swings, jet lag issues, self-doubt, low motivation, hunger pains, blaming complaining, and heightened desire to quit, amongst others. True!

The results of such extreme changes in your routines as different diets, new roommates, new sleeping patterns, physical intensity, and information overload can lead to meltdowns and higher injury occurrences in the first week.

It is from this new-day-start routine that you will feel ready and properly prepared to take on any two-hour yoga meditation session. A morning session of yoga practice is an exciting time, and there is much to learn, take in, and absorb. The first week especially is physically and mentally demanding, and it makes a lot of sense to you that you turn up to your morning yoga session feeling fresh, happy, and energized.

With this kind of morning preparation, you are much more likely to enjoy, participate, learn, and excel in all areas of your well-being and yoga practice. This new approach to your day is something that you will learn, embrace, and replicate when you return home.

During your training, you will have many opportunities to teach your first yoga class to a real yoga studio full of supportive, loving, enthusiastic yoga students and very experienced lead trainers and staff.

It is very important to eat the food that you like. When you join the course here in Manchester, you will be treated as adults, and the goal is to keep your yoga environment as close to a real-life scenario as possible.

One of the most difficult transitions a new yoga student will go through is the first week of their yoga teacher training new faces, new environments, new routines, many more yoga practices than you are used to, and a lot of new information to take in. They understand this and that your food choices are paramount for internal harmony.

They feel that there is no point in them providing you with three meals a day of the food that (the accommodation provider might be comfortable preparing) you don’t like.

The majority of student complaints during a yoga teacher training course (yes, students complain about yoga TTCs) are always about the food. The lack of variety is the same every day. You cannot keep healthy and strong by eating the same 3 choices of food every day. There is nothing worse than not enjoying the provided food menu options and being in an isolated location.

It would be impossible for them to provide you with food options to suit every palate. They would only be able to offer predictable, repetitive, protein-deficient, and limited food menu options, as other schools already offer.

They don't include food that you won't eat but have already paid for upfront.

They thought, "What if the students could eat the food that they prefer, choose their food menu options, go directly to the source, and benefit from the cost savings? That makes sense, right?"
