This 200-hour course is a dedicated practice to deepening the knowledge of the sacred yogic teachings. Luxurious and spacious with over 11,000 square feet of living space. This is a very private location yet only five minutes from downtown Kona. Driving range for golfing enthusiasts. 100' heated infinity-edge pool and hot tub. Beautiful mediation garden.

Deep intentions have been held on this property to be a safe and sacred location for you to relax and release into your experience. This massive property is abundant in avocado trees, cacao, citrus, and melon fruits! so much space to mediate in the garden and to get lost in the tree. There are two laundry units on the property and a theater room.

South Ohana Wing - Share with your yoga family in this ohana-style stay. You share a bathroom with three showers, three toilets, three sinks, and a giant tub. You have plenty of storage in your room and plenty of space! Open space and fun to get to know your yoga family. you have plenty of open space and easy access to the pool. You have a shared bathroom with a giant tub and three toilets, three showers, and three sinks.

Shared room with private bathroom

This is a giant shared room with two beds and your private bathroom with a shower. This bathroom will be privately yours and your bunkmate. Tons of space in this room!

King master suite with the best view in Kona

This is the master suite with your own private access to the pool and your own private bathroom with a luxury tub jacuzzi.

The Guest Villa House

This is your private villa guest house. There are two rooms in the villa, your kitchen, private bathroom, porch with such a beautiful view, and access to the mediation garden. You will be sharing this guest house with another fellow yogi. Very private and amazing space on the property.



Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).

What you will do

  • You will take rainforest hikes to waterfalls and spend the evenings watching the sunsets

A deep dive into your yoga practice; learning to authentically teach, understanding the body's anatomy, and getting into the history and philosophy of the yoga practice. You will be focusing on the asana postures and how to sequence a vinyasa class. Hosted at a luxury villa in Kona, Hawaii where it’s known for its healing aspects on the mind, body, and soul.

  • 06:30 - 08:00 Yoga practice
  • 08:00 - 09:30 Breakie and break
  • 09:30 - 11:30 Asana clinic (philosophy/anatomy/posture clinic)
  • 11:30 - 12:00 Breathwork/Qigong
  • 12:00 - 14:00 Lunch and break
  • 14:00 - 16:30 Asana clinic (philology/anatomy/posture)
  • 16:30 - 18:00 Yoga practice (asana/yin/yoga nidra)
  • 18:00 Dinner

In the daily asana clinic, you will dive deep into the anatomy of the body and the proper alignment in traditional yoga postures. You will discuss how to use yoga equipment to keep the alignment and connection with the body. There will be opportunities to practice with your fellow yogis on alignments and adjustments. You will talk about sequencing a class and how to prepare for class. How to cue transitions, how to begin and end a class and read your students.

There will be lectures on the sacred history and philosophy of yoga and the origin which where it first became. Every morning there will be mediation practice where you will discuss different mediation techniques and how to teach others how to get into the meditative states. Followed by pranayama practice. Breathwork is a key piece in the yoga practice. You will discuss various breathing experiences and how to incorporate them into your classes and your daily life.

Included excursions

There are two days off during the training where you can take a waterfall hike, hang by the beach, volcano trip, or dolphin swim.

This is a luxurious, lush property five minutes from Kona, Hawaii. Overlooking town and sights of ocean view, the sunset will be epic. On five acres of land with over 30 mature fruit trees. You can pick your own mangos, avocados and papayas. Only 15 minutes away from the airport. The property is on the healing land of Big Island. Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Kona International Airport at Keāhole (KOA). Yogagati provides transportation to the retreat center if requested. There are taxis, Uber, and Lyft for any inquiries.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 35% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 14 days before arrival.
