To become a great teacher, you require many different skills including patience, empathy, strong communication, listening, collaboration, and adaptability. These are just a few of the skills essential for you to stimulate, motivate, and engage your students and effectively transmit your knowledge to them. The art of yoga, in all its complexity, must be taught in the correct way to avoid the possibility of injury.

A teacher training course consists of hours of theoretical and practical yoga. Through experiential learning, you will improve your knowledge and skills and learn to identify the techniques that work for you. A good teacher usually has a unique style. The aim is to help you discover your style.

When you register for the teacher training in Misano Adriatico, a typical day begins with an early rise and a cup of herbal tea followed by yogic cleansing and pranayama. Afterward, it’s time for breakfast and soon after this, the yoga philosophy class starts. The day continues with Hatha yoga practice and asanas up until lunch, afterward a little rest and then it’s time for more asanas and later on pranayama and meditation. At the end of the day, you can enjoy a healthy vegetarian meal and still have sufficient time to relax and regain your energy for the next day.

For the 200-hour teaching program, lasting 28 days, Yogamea has designed a daily schedule that is a perfect balance of physical and mental exercises partnered with a sufficient amount of time to relax, to ensure that you gain the maximum of everything from the course. It is of no importance where you come from or where you want to teach yoga, but this course is the right one for you, to help you on your journey to becoming a certified yoga teacher.

Practicing yoga

Yoga is not just about performing asanas, it is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices that combine to connect you with your inner world. Practices such as Kundalini pranayama and Shatkriya promote spiritual enlightenment, helping you find inner peace.

Timea Vitez

The venue used during this yoga teacher training is located around 20 meters from the beach, not so far from Rimini Malatesta's old town and the famous small country, San Marino Republic. It is located within Hotel Yoga City, Hotel Arno, and Hotel Silvia in Misano Adriatico Beach which was a Roman settlement since the third century AD when Gens Mesia received lands in the area and gave their name to the place.

In 997 AD, the Pieve di Sant'Erasmo, one of the most ancient churches in the province, was built, and from 1295 to 1528, Misano was a dominion of the Malatesta, who built a castle whose tower and entrance are still extant. After 1528, it became part of the Church-State until 1861, when it was included in the Kingdom of Italy. In 1862, the name was changed to Villa Vittoria then in 1935 it became Misano Adriatico.

Traditionally for long centuries an agricultural center, in the 1930s, underwent a growing tourist development along the coast as well as offering access to nearby medieval villages. If you are keen on castles, tracing the path of Dante, or just getting out into the countryside for a day on your day off, YogaMeacan arranges excursions to several different places.

Arrival by train

From Ancona Falconara Airport (AOI), there is a shuttle every 20 minutes direct to the train station, for 5 EUR and it takes about 30 minutes to arrive. Once at the train station in Ancona, you can buy a one-way ticket for Misano Adriatico (your destination). Depending on the type of train, the trip can take from a minimum of 55 minutes to a maximum of one hour and 45 minutes. From Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport (BLQ), the transfer to the hotel is easy. Every five minutes, there is a shuttle bus direct to the central train station of Bologna.

The cost for the shuttle should be around 5 EUR. It will take around 15 to 20 minutes (depending on the traffic). From the central station of Bologna, every 20 minutes, there is a train direct to Rimini or Riccione. Once you are at the train station, choose the most suitable train for you, depending on time and price.
