Certifications

Students who complete the training before December 31, 2024 are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).

How the training works

Through this training, you will get two live sessions daily. On Saturdays, you will have assigned homework to do such as reading or watching video classes. Nirvana Yoga shala will give you all the online materials for self-study in this training. These are including asana charts with Kundalini yoga asanas, Kriyas, sequences, mantras, music, PDF books, and videos, also you will have access to an exclusive website for online students, with the information of each theory class (in case you missed them).

Daily schedule (GMT+5:30)

Online on Zoom from Monday to Friday.

Kundalini yoga practice, from 6 .30 p.m. to 8 p.m.IST India time

Theory class: from 8 p.m to 9 p.m..IST India time

Off-line self-study: Saturdays (homework, watching videos, reading, and self-practice). Sundays are for rest.

Course information

Kundalini yoga is a balanced blend of Kriyas asanas, breathwork, and meditations that helps balance your energy and mind so you can reach your potential, the best version of you. This course is designed not only to learn the foundation and benefits of Kundalini yoga practice but will also prepare you to share it.

During the first month of this online TTC, you will focus on practice and theory to give you a solid foundation in your knowledge. During the second month, you will focus on the practice of your teaching, this will give you the experience to build confidence in your class.

The course includes the following areas of study:

  • Kundalini asanas level 1 & 2 - Kriyas asanas (total 100 asanas)
  • Tantric breathing practices
  • Anatomy and physiology for Kundalini
  • Philosophy of Patanjali Yoga Sutras
  • Teaching methodology Kundalini asanas
  • Active and passive meditations
  • Ethics and business of yoga

Course objectives

  • Trainees will be able to practice and teach Kundalini Level 1 & 2 asana sequence and able to do self-practice and teach
  • Trainees will be able to use yoga accessories like belts, bricks, and bolsters to reach the desired goal of yoga and also how to practice/teach an injury-free yoga practice
  • Trainees should be able to teach led classes on Level 1 & 2 series, pranayama and able to lead meditation sessions
  • Trainees will learn the Philosophy of Pathanjali Yoga sutras Samadhi Pada and Sadhana Pada
  • Trainees will learn yogic breathing techniques called pranayama
  • Trainees will learn active and passive meditation techniques
  • Trainees will learn applied anatomy for yoga and understand the articulation of body parts based on asanas
  • Trainees will learn basic skills in business, marketing, and ethics of yoga
