This teacher training takes place in Triguna Yoga ashram. It is located a couple of kilometers from Rishikesh away from all noise and traffic and close to the holy Ganga river. We have two yoga halls in a garden with flowers and many trees. There is a swimming pool and a sauna available. There is free Wi-Fi access, a hot shower, and a filtered drinking water system. There are private rooms and shared rooms, some of them have AC, all have fans. The rooms are big and have Western toilets and a wardrobe. Bedsheets, blankets, and pillows are also provided for you.

Program overview
In this 100-hour certified meditation teacher training course, you will get the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Mantra meditation, Yoga Nidra, Vipassana meditation, Kundalini meditation, Sufi breathing, pranayama, dance celebration, and more! Most importantly, you can improve your communication skill to become an insightful meditation teacher and learn how to run your own meditation workshop.
100-hour training
You will get training and practical orientation in traditional meditation techniques. This includes yoga asanas, meditation, pranayama, mantra, chanting, and Kriya. You become aware of the physical anatomy and physiology through meditation and discussion.
Stimulation of the organs leads to stimulation of the inner energy but you must know how to connect with it and encourage it through continuous physical manipulation. You will go into deeper aspects of meditation lifestyle and philosophy. Then, you develop the ethics needed to become the expert of this special art. Through constant practice, you will develop strength.
To develop the interactivity needed, as a student, it is needed to practice the various techniques that are taught to you. This includes meditation techniques based on practical and literature teaching methods. You learn to read the material and find the pertinent points. You pick up these points and elaborate on them first, discussing it with your teacher or your co-students.
Another advantage is that you learn a new way of life through this course. You become free of the burden of the past and forget any worries about the future. The focus is on the present and the way to balance the tension and stresses in the best possible manner. Meditation techniques help you to mediate your daily life and go around obstacles in your path.
Course outline
Develop concentration through Mantra meditation
Using mantras, sounds with the rhythm for meditation is the most ancient and effective tool. Mantra provides you a crystallized state of mind and the state of beyond mind, into the state of true being.
The power of the Mantra meditation lies in the way you control the flow of energy through the various organs. You will see this in the program as one way to improve the favorable effects of meditation. When you meditate, you open the energy channels, starting from the base chakra located at the base of your spine.
Each of the chants is associated with a specific organ. One mantra you use is the all-powerful AUM sound. This mantra sounds like the bees and it raises the inner base chakra by stirring it.
Unlike Yoga Nidra where you can achieve samadhi or total peace in all the organs of the body, here you stimulate them to the metabolic activities become augmented. This is found in Nyasa, where Sanskrit mantras remain placed in specific organs of the body. By stimulating specific organs, you can get rid of ailments and cure infections.
The other big advantage of using a mantra is that you become free of repetitive thought. Through deep meditation, you can go behind the thought and understand why and how you get it in the first place. The emotional upheaval you experience comes from negative thoughts like pride, greed, and anger. But, they last only for 90 seconds at a time. When you chant a mantra, you are voiding the mind for that crucial period when you suffer an emotional disturbance. This helps block the drain of energy.
Know Yoga Nidra - a specific form of Meditation
Yoga Nidra meditation is a guided meditation technique that helps and directs you in a conscious state of sleep. Yoga Nidra is a state of existence of the yogi during the meditation which goes from wakefulness to sleep and then comes back to wakefulness. It highlights the presence of stages of transitions associated with different states of the mind. Shortly, you can say this is the state of conscious sleep. It is the easiest and effective meditation to purify the back edge of your unconscious mind.
The Mandukya Upanishads speak of the three states of consciousness - waking, dreaming, and deep sleep. This deep sleep state is called prajna. Through this yoga Nidra, you can purify the Samskaras that drive karma. These Samskaras are deep-seated impressions existing on some plane within you. The difference from sleep is that when you sleep you lose your path. In Yoga Nidra, the consciousness of the world remains lessened but the inner relaxation is deep.
The guiding clarity or light is the spiritual path you must seek (sadhana) and is entirely based on creative visualization. Yoga Nidra prepares and refines the yogi (sadhaka) who does the sadhana on various planes of existence such as the emotional, the spiritual, the physical, and the mental improving the consciousness and awareness.
The result of such a meditation is a realization, where the mind is aware of its own shortcomings and virtuous deeds and awareness, or bliss state where the yogi is in communion with the divine. They showed under experimental conditions, the yoga Nidra achieved (and they recorded) 70% alpha waves. You will get practical experience when you do your 100-hour meditation teacher training course.
In yoga Nidra state, you remain relaxed but aware of events taking place around yourself. This allows you to examine the deepest feelings and make the needed changes. By seeing the world around you in conjunction with yourself, you can perceive things from a real perspective. This helps you make better decisions.
Mindfulness meditation
Mindfulness means being present, now and here. The mind is always moving here and there behind thoughts and you keep on missing this present moment. The life of modern men has become a dream state, they are never in real life. Which is just here and now. Mindfulness methods of meditation are an opportunity to realize the value of being here and now.
Kundalini meditation
According to yogic terminology our life force, the dormant energy which is sleeping into the root chakra at the base of the spine, is called Kundalini. Until Kundalini is sleeping a person has to live into his minimum conscious state. Once the Kundalini power wakes up and starts moving upwards human achieves a higher state of consciousness.
Various methods of meditations are there which is helpful to wake up kundalini power. They provide the best atmosphere and methods to teach and practice kundalini meditations.
Dancing meditation
If you can dance, and dance totally, no other meditation is needed. Dance is the best way to meditate. All explanations are unnecessary because this state of dancing in totality is something that is needed to be experienced in a beautiful setting. Triguna yoga provides this setting, dancing meditation techniques, and guidance so you can just experience it and provide a setting for others to have this experience.
Tantra yoga kriyas
Tantra yoga kriyas are some tantric breathing and sound with yogic postures, mudras, and bandhas. Tantric yoga kriya meditations awaken our sleeping potentialities. Vipassana meditation
Meditation of Vipassana was there in Hindu mythology previously but later on Gautam, the Buddha developed these techniques in a very clear and profound way. These techniques of meditation are based on observations practices. And finding the separation between seer and seen, observer and observed, experiencer and experience.
Pranayama and Ancient breathing techniques
You will learn about the deeper meaning of the correct breathing techniques and develop knowledge about how you may use them in the yoga asanas and how they can improve your life. Changing breathing patterns will affect mind patterns and bring balance in body and emotions.

Prakash
Prakash wurde in Uttar Pradesh, Indien, in einer spirituellen Familie geboren und ist dort aufgewachsen. Schon in sehr jungen Jahren wurde er mit einem spirituellen Weg und Yoga vertraut gemacht. Bereits in seiner Kindheit begann er mit Meditation, Asanas, Pranayama und Gebeten. Auf seinem Weg lernte er Yoga an verschiedenen Instituten und in unterschiedlichen Traditionen, darunter Astanga Yoga an der SVYASA Bangalore sowie weiterführende Kurse an Satyanandas (Bihar School Of Yoga) in Munger. Er hat zudem frühere akademische Abschlüsse erworben: einen Master in Yoga und einen Master in Englischer Literatur. Prakash leitet heute Meditation, Yoga, Tantra, Achtsamkeit und Kundalini an.
Samadhi
Samadhi ist eine außergewöhnlich inspirierende und erfahrene Lehrerin für Pranayama, Meditation und Yoga Nidra sowie Therapeutin. Sie ist Doktorin der Naturheilkunde von der School of Naturopathy Gorakhpur, wo sie eine umfassende Ausbildung in Naturheilverfahren einschließlich Ernährung und therapeutischem Yoga absolviert hat. Lage
Triguna Yoga Center is situated in the holy city of Rishikesh, India, in the base of the Himalayas. Rishikesh holds deep cultural and spiritual significance for local Hindus. Sacred rivers and mountains set the scene for yoga and reflective hikes. Rishikesh is a world yoga capital and every year thousands of people come to Rishikesh to learn yoga and meditation. There are hundreds of temples and ashrams in Rishikesh.

A healthy and happy life depends on a healthy routine and a balanced diet. The food is carefully supervised and is prepared in a very natural and yogic manner while promoting the use of seasonal vegetables and fruits and avoiding all the artificially prepared edibles. The cooks will prepare the food with utmost devotion and love and nourish all the layers of your personality.
Often the vegetarian food is vegan as well, and if not, there will always be choices of vegan dishes available for our vegan students. Also, in case of food allergies like dairy or gluten allergies, Triguna Yoga can provide enough options to serve foods according to your needs.

Arrival by bus
Being a popular tourist destination, Rishikesh has a good network of buses connecting it with important places such as Haridwar, Dehradun, and New Delhi. Buses depart in the morning and late evening from the Kashmere Gate ISBT, New Delhi for Rishikesh every day. You can choose from a regular, deluxe, or a luxurious coach.
Arrival by train
The nearest railhead to Rishikesh is in Haridwar which is approximately 25 kilometers away. Haridwar, in turn, is linked to major Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Varanasi. Some of the popular trains are Shatabadi Express, Jan Shatabdi, AC Special Express, and Mussoorie Express. For those making the journey to Rishikesh, it is advisable to take the train till Haridwar and then either take a bus or hire a taxi to Rishikesh. While the bus would take about 45 minutes, the taxi will take you to Rishikesh in about half an hour.

Taking a taxi up to Rishikesh is worth considering, as it is connected to other cities via the National Highway 58, which is in good condition for most of the year. The drive from Delhi to Rishikesh would take approximately six to seven hours. The approximate fare from New Delhi is 80 USD and from Dehradun is 20 USD.
