Welcome to Maharishi Yoga Peeth's 200-hour yoga teacher training! Join this training for an unforgettable yoga program where you will learn life – and after which you will feel deeply rejuvenated.

This training creates a solid foundation for your own yoga practice and gives you permission to teach the gift of yoga worldwide. So whether you intend to teach in the future or whether you want to deepen your own practice, this course will give you the skills and the knowledge of the ancient practice of yoga.

All courses are designed to give you holistic perspectives such as the development of body and mind along with spiritual development, the oneness of self, and the universe. The approach of teaching contains ancient and modern science of yoga.

This course will focus on the Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary Series together with the study and practice of pranayama, meditation, action, and alignment as well as an adjustment workshop. The training approach is to not only make you understand and practice yoga but also to be a competent instructor to teach others.

The diet will be deeply therapeutical. The yoga hall is one of the most beautiful spots in Rishikesh with a wonderful view towards the river Ganga.

The objective of 200-hour yoga teacher training:

Class observation: You will observe a class given by one of the experienced yoga teachers as an inspiration for the class that you will then prepare.

This teacher training course will be held near Laxman Jhula in Rishikesh, northern India. Situated near the main city of Rishikesh, the venue is surrounded by forested mountains. Guests will not only get a feel of fresh air to breathe in but will also get an opportunity to explore the sacredness of the land.

The divine vibrations coming from the surroundings are enhanced by the Ganges River, which enriches the entire experience. You can take a dip in this holy river and experience the divinity. Meditating here will bring you closer to the attainment of Moksha. From Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), another good option is to travel by train. You can reach the train station by car. Then, you can take the train to Rishikesh. From Rishikesh, you will reach school by taxi.

Arrival by bus

From Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), another convenient option is to take a bus, preferably an overnight bus to Rishikesh from Delhi. From Rishikesh bus station Maharishi Yoga Peeth provide free pickup.
