Who can join this course?

  • Those who want to be an internationally certified teacher
  • If you are new to yoga (no specific background of yoga is required, being eager to learn is enough)
  • If you have been practicing yoga for a long time but don’t have knowledge of anatomy, the foundation of the asanas, and yoga philosophy

Certifications

Students who complete their training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).

How the training works

The course contains 100 hours of live sessions via Zoom and 195 non-contact hours of recorded videos, study books, self-practice, and self-study. There will be live streaming software for which access will be given to all students. The technical team will help every student individually to set up this software on your PC, mobile, or tablet.

It is very easy and user-friendly where all students will have the same access to your yoga trainer in high-definition video quality. The classes will be from Monday to Saturday.

After every session, there will be free time where you can clear your queries with your trainer directly. If you even miss any session, a recorded video of that session will be shared after completing class so in case you wish to go through with any session again, you can do it anytime. Only students will have access to their yoga classes conducted by their trainer.

The design of this training is based on the curriculum of Yoga Alliance U.S.A. as well as fulfills the requirement of being a registered Yoga Teacher. At the end of this Online Yoga Teacher Training in India, you will become a certified Yoga Teacher/Instructor, will be qualified to teach worldwide, and eligible to register with Yoga Alliance to be a certified teacher globally.

Live Sessions timing of sessions (GMT+5:30)

Live classes will be on weekends and the class timings can be decided according to the student's convenience.

Recording of the live classes will be shared with the students after the session gets over.

Vinyasa Yogashala can also manage timing according to your comfort time zone.

According to the W.H.O (World Health Organization), most countries have seen cases of COVID-19. In this 200-hour online yoga teacher training course, you will learn the traditional way of yoga practices. After completion of this course, you will go beyond your limits and will get the opportunity to learn traditional yoga studies and the science behind it from the well-known yoga masters of Rishikesh.

Asana teachers are world champions who fought in many yoga championships and won the gold, silver, and bronze medals. As well as they served their teachings globally like Rishikesh (North India), Kerala (south India), Nepal, Thailand, Egypt, and Kazakhstan. So learning through these masters of Vinyasa Yogashala will enhance your the proper knowledge to improve your teaching and self-practice and self-confidence to start your yoga journey.

Who is eligible for this course?

  • This course is open for all, and it has a range of asanas from moderate to intermediate and it has many variations to reach some advanced poses
  • To open up the new dimensions of yogic learning, exploring the deep understanding of traditional yoga
  • The student applying for the online 200-hour yoga teacher training course should be at least 18 years old
  • Make sure you do not have recent or new surgery or any chronic problems because, during the course, you will do various asana, pranayama, and Shatkriya that will stretch various muscles and body parts that will challenge your body limit
  • Do not want to be a yoga teacher but a desire to deepen your own yoga practice and knowledge

Pranayama

The word 'Pranayama' has two etymological explanations. It has been interpreted as a combination of the words Pranayama. The word ‘prana’ means the ‘vital force’. The word ‘ayama’ means 'expanding the dimension'. So, in the first sense, Pranayama means expanding the dimension of ‘vital energy. The word ‘Yama’ means 'restraint' or 'control".

So, here Pranayama refers to the 'control’ or ‘restraint’ of prana. In Pranayama (yogic breathing), here the students will learn the clear concepts and practices of Pranayama including different breathing exercises mentioned in Hatha yoga and with benefits and contra-indications.
