Pre-application requirements
This program is for of all ages and levels can practice Yoga Nidra. A high degree of self-motivation is required for all aspects of the program. Basic knowledge of yoga is helpful but not essential. You will need a Zoom account and a stable internet connection.
Certifications
The course/hours count as Continuing Education hours for Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®) only.
How the training works
This is a 10-day program and you can start on any day of the month. There will be daily practice on self-pace. The course consists of five contact hours via Zoom and 15 non-contact hours for guided audio and video classes. You will receive all material for the course, including:
- Course manual
- Daily Yoga Nidra practices
- Lecture and understanding of yoga Nidra by Yogini Tanushree (10 sessions)
- One live Q&A Yoga Nidra session with yogini Tanushree
You will receive the video and audio files for lifetime use and you will have the opportunity to meet and learn directly learn from Yogini Tanushree.
Timing of sessions (GMT+5:30)
Each live session will be 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. or it can be changed according to your convenience.
Course information
Yoga Nidra is one of the practice comes in yoga which is derived from tantras. It is a powerful technique in which you learn to relax consciously also called conscious sleep, deep sleep, or psychic sleep. In this, you are sleeping with awareness. Nowadays, because of your unhealthy lifestyle, poor eating habits, improper sleep, lots of physical, mental, and emotional issues come in life which brings unhappiness and lots of suffering within yourself.
Many people who look healthy from the body do not have a healthy mind. Many are struggling to release the suppressed emotions and unwanted desires. In yoga, they have many techniques which bring complete harmony in the body and mind. Yoga Nidra is one of them. Yoga meaning "union or one-pointed awareness" and Nidra means "sleep". During the practice of Yoga Nidra, one appears to be asleep, but the consciousness is functioning at a deeper level of awareness.
People who are new to meditation and finding difficult to do one-pointed concentration can practice Yoga Nidra with ease because if you do not relax properly, you cannot meditate properly. So, in this program, Yogini Tanushree has prepared this beautiful practice for you and you can do it while sitting in your home. This practice she is doing here will be from Swami Satyananda Ji who is the founder of Bihar yoga school.

Ashish Rawat
Ashish connaît bien les asanas et sait les enseigner à ses élèves. Il enseigne à Rishikesh et dans d'autres régions du pays depuis ces sept dernières années. Ashish a étudié le yoga à la célèbre école internationale de yoga Vishwaguru Vedniketandham à Rishikesh. Il a obtenu sa maîtrise en sciences yogiques à l'université Sanskrit d'Uttarakhand. Il a également participé à plusieurs ateliers et séminaires sur l'éducation physique, l'entraînement sportif et le yoga dans différentes régions du pays. Il enseigne le yoga hatha, l'ashtanga, le vinyasa flow et l'ajustement de l'alignement des postures.
Tanushree Rawat
Tanushree Rawat est chargée d’enseigner les asanas, le pranayama, la méditation, les mantras et d’autres formes de yoga. Elle a obtenu son diplôme de troisième cycle en yoga à l’université sanskrite d’Haridwar en 2011. Elle a poursuivi sa formation en obtenant un Master of Science en sciences yogiques en 2013. En outre, elle a validé sa formation certifiante de six mois au Ved Niketan Ashram ainsi qu’une formation de professeur de yoga de 200h au Jeevmoksha Yoga Gurukul.
