Pre-application requirements
- You should have some basic yoga experience before joining this course.
- You do not need to be super flexible or do advanced poses.
Certifications
Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).
How the training works
The training consists of 100 hours of self-paced online training and 80 hours of onsite immersion within 10 days. During the in-person part of the training, you will receive an immersive training in Vinyasa flow yoga, anatomy, philosophy, teaching methodology, adjustments, sequencing, and teaching practice, plus special workshops for Aerial, Acro, and Yin yoga. All classes are guided by a senior E-RYT 500 trainer with over 10 years of teaching experience (No interns or newly certified teachers). You can attend optional afternoon classes or do more online work and enjoy a longer break. You will have chances to explore beautiful Uluwatu beaches, cafes, and shops in your free time.
Day one starts at 5:00 p.m., and the last day ends at 12:30 p.m. There will be no day off. If you miss class or need an extra break, you can make it up online. The online portion includes pre-recorded videos covering all topics. You can complete this work before or after the onsite training by working at your own pace, which can take up to two years to finish. You will have lifetime access, forever available as a life-long resource. The training focuses on Vinyasa yoga.

Instructeurs
Cody Pizer
Cody is a lead ULU Yoga trainer. He has been teaching yoga globally for several years and instructing multiple yoga teacher training as a lead and senior instructor. He has trained in India and Thailand on multi-style Vinyasa, Yoga, Hatha, Ashtanga, and Yin teacher training, and attended multiple movements, anatomy, and meditation workshops throughout Asia. He has certifications in Aerial and SUP yoga. Additionally, he has several years of experience in Qigong, primal movement, contemporary dance, Calisthenic training, and a black belt in Taekwondo.
Manjeet Mathur
Manjeet started yoga and self-awareness path in 2009. He completed his 200-hour, 300-hour, yoga therapy modules 1 and 2 multi-style YTT with Parimukti Yoga in India. He also has certifications in meditation training and Iyengar yoga. Manjeet has taught 3000+ hours in 50-plus yoga and meditation teacher training specializing in Hatha yoga, meditations, practical yoga philosophy, chakras, pranayama, and more. He has a very human approach to yoga and believes in personalizing practices for everyone. Emotional awareness and making a light, playful space also is Manjeet's specialties.
Kehkashan Nadeem
Kehkashan has 20 years of yoga experience. Her first yoga training was more than 1000 hours long over a six-month period followed by three months of volunteer teaching in 2001. She has completed a 500-hour advanced yoga teacher training in Nepal, Hot yoga teacher training from Absolute Yoga Academy, advance teaching skills at the Yoga Expert Academy, Aerial yoga teacher training at ULU Yoga, and Sky yoga level 2 TT in Bali. She is a master at taking you through the paces, drawing connections between poses, giving you the confidence to try tricky things and get into advanced poses eventually.
Dr. Kalpana Karia
Since the age of 9, Kalpana started learning yoga from her father Dhanjibhai Khagram. After the age of 18, she went to London for her further studies in radiology. She always went to many yoga classes in London. After completing her studies in London, she went to India In Rishikesh and took an intensive yoga teacher training course at Sivananda Ashram. Yoga has always been her passion and she never stopped studying to update her knowledge up to today. From 1982 to 1986, she did a television series teaching yoga on the local Kenyan television and published her first book, Yoga For Health.
Edward Pawlak
Edward (USA) started yoga in 2007. He has studied and taught all over the world and completed training in Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, traditional Thai massage, meditation, and Aerial yoga. In 2014, Edward founded ULU Yoga and began offering 200 and 300-hour yoga teacher training. Before yoga, Edward taught university education, worked in music theatre production and volunteered at numerous permaculture farms and eco-retreat centers. Edward’s passion is to inspire others through creative exploration and empower students to change their lives to help others.
Héloïse Chong
Héloïse has been teaching yoga since 2013 and has been dedicating the last six years to following her heart and deepening her own practice in the Himalayas, Thailand, and Bali. She is a certified Vinyasa and Restorative yoga teacher and has completed additional training on the Chakra system, Thai massage, SUP yoga, Aerial yoga, and multiple modalities of emotional and energetic healing. Héloïse believes that yoga is a tool that can be used for self-healing, and purification of mind, body, and soul, as well as a path back to your true self.
Leila Freidman
Leila Friedman (Swiss) has a dynamic range of life experience and skills to share. She grew up traveling the world as a fashion model, actress and TV host. She has completed several 200 and 300 hour Teacher Trainings in Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Pre and Post Natal, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Kids Yoga, Trauma informed Yoga. Leila is a certified Holistic Health Coach, NLP life coach, Human Design Reader, Level 4 Heart Centered Reiki Grand Master Teacher, Advanced Chakra Healing Practitioner, and a Raw Vegan Dessert Chef. She has been teaching yoga since 2011 and is a Yoga Alliance RYT-500.
Bianca Ragone
Bianca (USA) is a committed yoga practitioner and teacher with over 1,000 hours of training since 2009. She holds 200HR and 500HR Yoga Therapy certifications and has studied Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Iyengar yoga, specializing in props and adjustments. Bianca also trained in Thai yoga massage, craniosacral therapy, and mindfulness practices for special needs children and trauma victims. Additionally, she is a certified school teacher with a Master's in Education and over 11 years of teaching experience.
Marylene Henry
Marylene is an RYT500 + YACEP with Yoga Alliance, founder and lead teacher of Zazyoga, and Doctor of Osteopathy. She also works with other schools in Bali and Dubai to teach Vinyasa, yoga anatomy, therapeutic yoga, Asana labs, philosophy, etc. Her specialty is functional anatomy, accessible yoga (adaptation of various practices) and art of sequencing classes. She also teaches pranayama and meditation, as well as yoga nidra and restorative yoga.
Arbely Rubalcava
Arbely, originally from Mexico and raised in Montréal, discovered yoga at 18 as a path of healing after leaving competitive gymnastics. Since completing her first 500hr YTT in India in 2009, she has taught internationally for over 16 years, studying Ashtanga with Sharath R. Jois and leading teacher trainings worldwide. She believes yoga is a grounding, healing practice accessible to all and is dedicated to guiding students toward deeper self-connection.
Prashant Bisht
Dedicated yoga teacher, senior trainer, and educator with 10+ years of experience blending traditional yogic practice with modern movement science. Began training in Rishikesh, India, and has developed a precise, safe, and progressive teaching style, known for clear alignment cues, biomechanics, and accessible instruction. Leads 200- and 300-hour teacher trainings across India and Bali, integrating asana, anatomy, sequencing, pranayama, meditation, and philosophy, while mentoring students and teachers to build confident, sustainable, and transformative practices.

In-person training
This part of the training takes place at Ulu Yoga's beautiful new ocean view shala, just a few minutes from famous Bingin Beach. The shala features a soft cushion floor, clean new props, and air conditioning. Train comfortably any time of year. Easily walk to several resorts. Many great shops and cafes are just two minutes drive. Bali is a tropical island paradise known as the Island of the Gods. Uluwatu is one of the most beautiful parts of Bali with stunning limestone cliffs, turquoise waters, and world-famous surfing, hip cafes, beach bars, boutique shops, live music, dance, spas, and massage.
In your free time, you can visit Uluwatu's amazing beaches, watch the Balinese dance show at Uluwatu temple, go shopping in magical Ubud, swim in waterfalls above the clouds in Munduk, hike 10,000 meters up to Mt. Agung, go snorkeling or diving in Amed, or go island hopping in the Gili’s.
