This 200-hour yoga teacher training at Jeevan Utsav Yoga School & Retreat is designed to deepen your understanding of yoga, refine your personal practice, and guide you toward greater self-awareness. Set in the peaceful environment of Rishikesh, the course encourages you to slow down, stay present, and connect with your true self on both physical and spiritual levels.
The curriculum blends traditional yogic wisdom with practical training, covering essential subjects such as yoga philosophy, anatomy and physiology, asanas and alignment, pranayama, meditation, mantra chanting, and teaching methodology. This course is ideal for beginners as well as intermediate practitioners who wish to strengthen their foundation and develop teaching skills.
Throughout the training, a supportive and transformative environment is maintained to help students grow with confidence. The daily schedule is thoughtfully structured to balance theory and practice while also allowing time for rest, self-study, and reflection. This balanced approach helps students stay energized, focused, and fully engaged throughout their journey.
No prior teaching experience is required, but a genuine interest in yoga is essential. Upon completion, students will be prepared to teach various styles such as Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Power Yoga, and Restorative Yoga.

Evaluation and certification
Students will be evaluated through written assignments and practical teaching assessments. A minimum of 80 percent attendance is required to successfully complete the course and receive certification.
By enrolling in the course, students confirm that they are physically and mentally fit to participate in an intensive yoga training program. It is recommended to consult a professional in case of any health concerns before joining.
Upon successful completion, students will receive a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate of completion.
