Do you have the desire to teach and heal others through yoga? But, at the same time, you know there's still some work to do on yourself first? If this is you, then this is the perfect program.
The ashram is surrounded by an evergreen forest, banana trees, and a stunning little river that flows directly to the Ganges. The training helps you to experience, this sacred setting and will hold space for you to breathe, release and absorb the knowledge shared, so you can take the first steps of your true yogic path.

Asana
A daily teaching practice class is devoted to teaching you how to teach asanas and pranayama. A daily asana practice class gives you the opportunity to practice your own asanas and will help to build a good habit of practice. The daily in-depth practice with individual corrections comprises:
- Sun salutation
- 12 basic yoga postures
- 100 asana variations, from intermediate level to advanced
- Postural alignment
- Deep relaxation with autosuggestion

You will be asked to do various tasks within the ashram setting including gardening, cooking, cleaning, office work, and any other work necessary for the smooth running of the community.

Professeurs
Guruji Swami Samarpanananda Saraswati
Guruji Avadhut Samarpananandaji (Himalayan Master) was born in a small tribe village, Odisha, India. After his graduation in Science with Botany (with honors), then he left home and visited Gurukul (family of masters) life in Rishikesh at Shivananda Ashram. He completed the 15th Yoga Vedanta Forest Academy (YVFA) certificate course in 1990 on the philosophy and psychology of Yoga and Vedanta.
Kapil Bisht
Kapil Dev Bist has completed a yoga teacher training course under the guidance of Swami Samarpanananda Saraswati and he has studied in Shivananda Ashram, Rishikesh. He leads yoga teacher trainings and other courses in Swami Samarpan Ashram, Samarpan School of Yoga at Tapovan under the guidance of Himalayan master Swami Samarpan. Kapil Dev Bist also teaches in other schools around Rishikesh. He is the head yoga teacher of Swami Samarpan Ashram.
