Programme
Course requirements
- Minimum one year of consistent yoga practice. Less experienced yogis will be considered if the considerable dedication to their practice is shown, i.e., daily practice in an intensive environment
- A positive, determined attitude and an open mind receptive to new teachings or ideas. You will be tested both mentally and physically during this course and they must be sure that you are up to the challenge
- Complete the application form to determine suitability
It is important to note that not everyone who participates in a yoga teacher training course wants to be a yoga teacher afterwards. Some do it only to deepen their own practice. They welcome all students and all motivations for doing this course. Significant attention will be given to the art of teaching, but even this can be seen as a window into how to deepen one’s own practice.

Professeurs
Will Hardy
Will founded Suan Sati as a lifestyle that would allow himself and others to live the practice and not only visit it. Buddhist meditation, yoga, and permaculture are integral parts of his path, and the opportunity and responsibility to share these things with others in a community setting led him to take on this project. Will is always on site tending the gardens, leading meditation, and sneaking bananas, but he always has time for a chat and a laugh with new friends.
Lisa Hardy
For Lisa, yoga is practicing body awareness and connecting with the deeper self. Yoga opened up a whole new world for her; a world of transformation, acceptance, connection, and the direct knowledge of a higher power, without having to label or define it. One key point for her that leads to a healthy, balanced, and holistic lifestyle is the certainty that there is a vital force within and around our body that keeps us alive, constantly flowing. Every breath, every heartbeat deserves to be honored, on and off the mat. She has completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in Goa, India.
