500 Hour Yoga Alliance Certification
Upon graduation from this course, you will be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher in the 500 Hour Category (RYT 500).
Teaching Practice, Methodology & Technique
During the teaching practice, you’ll focus on Hatha and Yin Yoga. Alignment and hands-on adjustments for Yin Yoga asanas will be thoroughly explored in this training. You will receive in-depth instruction to enhance your teaching
abilities and refine the way you plan and structure your classes. The course also covers essential teaching techniques such as demonstration, observation, assisting, and offering effective corrections. You’ll develop greater skill in delivering clear verbal cues, discover various teaching
styles, and understand the core qualities that define an impactful and inspiring
Teaching begins on day 5 with Asana classes, and you’ll progressively lead longer sessions, up to 45-90 minutes. You’ll receive feedback from peers and teachers on adjustments, voice projection, class management, and teaching styles.
The course includes an introduction to Yin Yoga anatomy, physiology, and
fascial trains, offering a strong foundation in understanding the body’s structure and function. You will explore the principles of Daoist philosophy
and its influence on Chinese thought, along with the meaning, origins, and historical context of the Yin-Yang symbol. A deeper exploration of Qi will provide insight into its role in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), complemented by a study of the meridian system and its energetic pathways. You will also delve into the theory of the five elements and how they interact within both the human body and the natural world.

Please book your flight to arrive at Dharamshala Gaggal Airport (DHM), which is about 12 kilometers south of Dharamshala and about 10 kilometers north of Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. Other airports are Chandigarh International Airport (IXC) and Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL).
Arrival by train
To reach Dharamshala by train, one has to reach Kangra, Himachal Pradesh town by Kangra Valley Railway line from Pathankot, which is 94 kilometers away, and then take a bus or a taxi. Pathankot is a broad-gauge railway head. There is another railway line from Pathankot to Jogindernagar, a part of the Mandi District of Himachal Pradesh, which is a narrow-gauge line. %The nearest station to Dharamshala on this line is Chamunda Marg, half an hour away, where a Shaktipitha is; the town is well connected by road to other parts of the country.
