This yoga program is designed for yoga aspirants who have already gone through the 200-hour training and want to advance their yoga teaching skills. This training is very special as you will collaborate with experienced and talented teachers. Combined, the team have many years of teaching experience. So, what are you waiting for? Bend it Like Buddha offers two options of apartment-style rooms. The first one is the standard one or two bedrooms near the yoga studio with a shared kitchen, bathroom, and shower. Meanwhile, the second option is a 5-star hotel city view or oceanfront room for an additional fee. Both options are near the yoga studio with Wi-Fi and an air conditioner.
Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).
Students must upload their RYT 200-hour certificate to show they are qualified for this 300-hour advanced training.
You will go deeper into yoga history, philosophy, mudras, learn how to facilitate sound healing and cacao ceremonies, how to facilitate Usui Reiki healing sessions, and learn advanced pranayama. Enjoy breathwork journeys and sound healing journeys in this program.

L. Farrah Furtado (E-RYT 500) began her yoga journey by studying one-on-one meditation in Taiwan at Fo Guan Shan Buddhist monastery for five years with monks. Soon, she was invited to collaborate with the Venerable to design and direct silent retreats and Buddhist courses at the monastery for English-speaking students. Furtado, a Canadian-Portuguese, completed her advanced course of 500-hour Vinyasa yoga teacher training in Goa, India, and studied Pranayama, Philosophy, and Ashtanga Vinyasa in Mysore, India, with Ashtanga master BNS Iyengar consecutively for four years.
Mafalda Rodriguez started practicing yoga about 11 years ago and soon realized how yoga is transforming, how it brings people back to their center and allows them a universal and conscious view of life. Mafalda is a Shaman, gifted healer, breath work facilitator, and a highly experienced sound healer and traditional Kirtan Mantra musician.
Danni loves to teach and share. She is passionate about what she does as yoga had such a special effect on her life. It is rare to be in one of her classes and to not burst out in laughter, child-like giggles, or even laughing so hard your crying with stomach pains! Her classes are strong, creative, and super fun. Most importantly, she teaches from the heart. At Bend it like Buddha, Danni teaches Vinyasa, how to theme and sequence classes, kids yoga, Acro yoga, and adjustment-modification classes. She has taught in classes & TTCs in India, Bali, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, and Morocco.
Daniela teaches Vinyasa, Yin, pre-natal yoga, and kids yoga at Bend it like Buddha school in Praia da Rocha, Algarve Portugal. Daniela is an International certified mindfulness coach, a healer practitioner, and an experienced meditation and yoga teacher, based in Portugal. From social education and social activism to yoga and meditation, Daniela traveled the world and lived abroad sharing her life mission to empower different communities and unprivileged groups, co-founding and managing social projects in Mozambique, Italy, and Australia.
Born a Portuguese wanderer, passionate about Nature, graduated in Nursing, since a young age Berta was drawn to the mysteries of the human body, mind and soul. It was in 2008 that she embraced her yoga path. She observed and learned from many teachers and masters of not just Ashtanga, but also Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin Yoga and Ayurveda, becoming a Yoga Teacher and later an Ayurvedic Therapist. Her teaching style is a blend of all the experiences, travelling and her self-practice: it has a traditional strong foundation with a therapeutic approach, working on the release of traumas through the body.
She is one of a kind, warm, compassionate and has over 20 years of experience as a yoga teacher, specifically in anatomy and therapy yoga. Her strength is in helping people pinpoint their therapeutic yoga practice for specific injuries and health needs. She has been studying 'The New Approach to Health' and the Theory of Psychotrauma in Identity and would like to share with you these ancient tools.
Joanna is a passionate yoga instructor with over 18 years of experience. She is well-versed in various modalities, including Vinyasa Flow, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Reiki, Ayurveda, and Mobilization Therapy, which she skillfully blends to create unique and transformative experiences for her students. Johanna’s journey began at a young age with meditation, blossoming into a love for Vinyasa Flow yoga. She holds a 200-hour certification from Laughing Lotus in New York City and has deepened her knowledge with additional trainings in Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra.
Macedonia Domingues has always been very connected to nature and animals. Being in touch with nature always made her feel happy and at peace. She's a Scuba Diving Instructor since 2010 and while working in Santa Maria, Azores she started yoga classes, falling in love with Vinyasa Flow and its movements in sync with the breath. She continued practicing yoga by herself and always felt that this was the path she should follow. She pours her heart into her students and shares what she has learned about life through yoga. She's grateful that she can share yoga and improve people’s lives.
Victoria, originally from São Paulo, Brazil has been a passionate yoga practitioner since 2013. Over the years, she has developed a deep love for yoga and its transformative power, believing that it has the potential to positively impact those who embrace the practice. She teaches a variety of yoga styles, including Vinyasa-inspired sequences, Yin, Prenatal yoga, Kids Yoga, and Ashtanga Vinyasa.
