I joined the Bhakti Yoga School for a deepening yoga teacher training after already completing another 200h YTT. Shyam and Chaitanya are both truly devoted teachers, each bringing their unique gifts to the training.

The depth for me came through the precise alignment teaching of Iyengar yoga with Chaitanya, the insights into Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda with Shyam, and the immersion in Bhakti Yoga. Every day there were mantra chants, praise to Krishna, and ceremonies with readings and teachings from the Bhagavad Gita. I found this aspect interesting, although I also appreciated that participation was encouraged but not obligatory and I was free to have my own meditation time in the mountains outside during this Kirtan time..

This training offered me a beautiful balance of knowledge, practice, and spiritual inspiration. It truly enriched my yoga journey.

I was transformed by the incredible teachings of Syam and Chaitanya. They not only teach you the core knowledge needed to become a yoga teacher, but also introduce you to a beautiful spiritual path. I loved the daily meditations, pranayama, yoga, theory classes, and overall calm atmosphere of the ashram. The friends I made there were so kind, accepting, and beautiful people. Being up in the mountains was also so peaceful, yet we could still easily go to the city to experience the culture of Cali. I also loved the excursion to Palomino on the beach where we continued learning from this environment. I can't wait for my next training with Yogendra.

We had an amazing Thai massage course with Sham, who is a fantastic instructor with a big heart :) I would recommend this course to anyone interested. Course material is clear with lots of opportunity to practice. Food was yummy too! The ashram is beautiful and the location is peaceful and inspiring. Many many thanks to Shyam and the whole team!

The yoga/Hare Krishna knowledge that Syam & Chaitanya share and the example they set for a balanced way of life is inspiring. Set in the stunning Sacred Valley, the location for self transformation is perfect. This course is immersive and there is a lot to learn in 21 days, yet the days are relaxed & well structured. I think of yoga differently now and have changed my daily habits because of this course. It also attracts such beautiful humans. I would 100% recommend if you want to deepen your understanding of yoga, or are feeling stuck in life and need a fresh perspective.

One of my best decisions was choosing the Bhakti Yoga school. It wasn't just a yoga teacher training, it was a journey to myself. In these 3 weeks I went on a journey to the lowest lows and the highest heights of my self. I couldn't imagine better teachers than Shyam and Chaitanya. With their sensitive, respectful manner, there was room for every student to grow as a yoga teacher in just 3 weeks! 3 weeks full of yoga, love, philosophy, gratitude and wisdom. It was an honor for me that Shyam and Chaitanya shared their deep knowledge with us and accompanied me on my journey to becoming a yoga teacher. I would choose the same 200h YTT again! Namaste.
