Accommodation

Check-in Time:
15:00
Check-out Time:
11:00

During your stay in Malta, you’ll be welcomed into a beautiful seaside apartment overlooking Xemxija Cove, offering the kind of breathtaking, unobstructed Mediterranean views that instantly put you at ease. From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the calm energy of the sea just outside your window — the perfect backdrop for study, rest, and renewal.

Your shared home features two spacious bedrooms, a large shared bathroom, and a bright, open living space designed for connection and comfort. Wake up to the shimmer of sunlight dancing on the water, enjoy morning coffee on either of the two balconies with sea or country views, and wind down after training days with laughter, good food, and deep conversations that stretch into the night.

While all meals are provided, a fully stocked kitchen is available if you ever wish to prepare your own snacks or tea between sessions. Every detail has been considered to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. We want you to feel at home with your new Buddhi sisters.

Located just five minutes away from everything you could want — swimmable coves, a small beach, hiking trails along the ancient Roman Road, cozy cafés, healthy eateries, and local shops — the apartment offers both tranquility and accessibility.

This is more than accommodation — it’s a home base for your transformation. A space to rest, recharge, and connect with the group as you integrate the powerful work we do each day.

Participants will stay in a bright and comfortable private apartment in Xemxija, just a 5-minute walk from the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. Rooms are shared, including both bedrooms and bathroom facilities, creating a cozy, community-oriented environment that encourages connection and camaraderie among participants. Communal spaces within the apartment and nearby outdoor areas are perfect for morning stretches, evening reflections, or sunrise swims in one of the nearby coves.

Set apart from Malta’s busier, party-focused areas, the apartment provides a peaceful, focused atmosphere while remaining close to charming cafés, healthy eateries, and a convenience store for any essentials. Its location also makes it easy to explore Malta’s stunning beaches and nearby islands, balancing adventure with the quiet needed to fully immerse yourself in your training.

Though all meals are included in the program, the apartment also boasts a large, well-stocked kitchen, should participants want any meals outside of the included options.

The apartment is located a short walk away from the Mediterranean, cafes, and small stores, and the cove it is situated in provides many opportunities for walks, both along the promenade as well as in the surrounding countryside.

How the training works

The Buddhi hybrid yoga training combines live online learning with immersive in-person training in Malta. This 100-hour hybrid program consists of 38.5 hours of live online training and 61.5 hours of onsite instruction in Malta. The program is designed to support personal and professional development through a blend of virtual study, hands-on practice, and cultural immersion. All sessions are delivered live, and replays are provided for participants who cannot join a session in real time.

Online tools

The online portion of the training is delivered through Zoom, providing an accessible and interactive way to learn from anywhere. Participants will receive replay access, downloadable resources, and additional study materials to support their learning between live sessions.

The online training begins in March 2026 and continues through June 2026, scheduled across 8 live training days (2 days each in March, April, May, and June 2026). The residential training takes place in Malta in July 2026, where participants will experience intensive in-person study, daily practice, and cultural excursions. Time zone and specific dates for the online sessions will be confirmed based on participant availability. The online training must be completed before students begin the residential module in Malta.

Course information, Curriculum

Beginning online this March and culminating in-person on the magical island of Malta this July, the Hybrid Buddhi Teacher Training invites you on a journey of transformation, embodiment, and connection.

This is not just a training—it is a rebirth. Over the course of several months, you will reconnect with your body, recharge your spirit, and expand your knowledge of the Buddhi method, all while preparing to step confidently into your role as a teacher and leader in the space of movement and empowerment.

The journey begins online with eight in-depth sessions spread between March and June, giving you the time and space to fully absorb the material. We will guide you through every layer of the Buddhi experience—from anatomy and philosophy to energetic theory and sequencing—so by the time you arrive in Malta, you are ready to embody it all.

Then, from July 4–14, it is time to take it off the screen and into the sunshine. Each day of the in-person immersion is a blend of study, practice, exploration, and connection. You will refine your teaching skills, learn to lead full classes with confidence (and yes, shake your booty in the process!), and deepen your understanding of how Buddhi transforms both body and mind.

Between sessions, you will soak in the turquoise Mediterranean waters, wander through Malta’s ancient streets, and share unforgettable experiences with the group you have grown to know online.

By the end, you will leave not only with a 100-hour certification (recognized by Yoga Alliance for continuing education credits for RYTs), but with something much deeper: unshakeable confidence, new lifelong friendships, and a renewed sense of purpose that extends far beyond the mat.

Whether you are an experienced instructor or a passionate Buddhi student ready to take the next step, this training is your invitation to grow, expand, and lead.

The first phase of your Buddhi Teacher Training unfolds online—eight rich, interactive sessions designed to build your foundation as both a practitioner and an emerging instructor.

Hosted live between March and June 2026 (with session times determined to best suit our global group), these online gatherings combine movement, theory, and personal development to help you embody the essence of Buddhi long before you arrive in Malta.

Each session includes:

  • Instructor-led Buddhi classes to deepen your personal practice and begin learning the flow, sequencing, and energy behind each phase of a Buddhi class.
  • In-depth theory modules exploring the “science behind the shake”—from the neuroscience of movement and entrainment to the energetic and emotional effects that make Buddhi so unique.
  • Teaching methodology and leadership coaching to help you discover your authentic voice as a teacher. You will learn how to cue effectively, structure a class, set up your teaching space, and begin developing your own leadership style.
  • Confidence-building practices to help you start embodying the identity of a Buddhi instructor—so that by the time you land in Malta, you are already living it.

This phase is designed to fit seamlessly into your life. You will gain the full training experience without needing to take extended time away from work, family, or other commitments. And because all sessions are recorded and available for replay, you can revisit them anytime—deepening your understanding and integration at your own pace.

By the end of the online portion, you will have a strong grasp of Buddhi’s structure, philosophy, and science. You will already be moving, shaking, and thinking like a teacher—ready to take everything you have learned and bring it to life when we meet in Malta.

This training is a carefully crafted journey designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to step into your role as an inspiring leader — both for your students and for yourself. Whether you are an experienced instructor or a devoted Buddhi practitioner ready to share your passion, this program will meet you exactly where you are and help you rise into the teacher you are meant to become.

Across the hybrid experience — from our eight online sessions to our in-person immersion in Malta — you will explore every layer of the Buddhi practice: the physical, the energetic, and the emotional. This is not a crash course; it is a fully immersive education that gives you time to digest, embody, and integrate everything you learn.

The Practice

Each day begins with Buddhi asana and movement, where you will refine your technique and reconnect to the joy of your own practice. You will also gain extensive experience teaching your peers, learning to lead full classes from start to finish with confidence, presence, and flow.

Safety, Alignment and Anatomy

We will dive deep into functional alignment, muscle engagement, and joint safety, ensuring that you can create classes that are both empowering and sustainable for your students’ bodies.

Teaching Methodology and Class Design

You will learn how to craft a class that is more than a workout — a full-body, soul-shifting experience. From sequencing and cueing to setting the energetic tone of the room, you will master how to lead with clarity and intention. You will receive comprehensive class structure guidelines that help you prepare your students for peak poses and design classes that flow seamlessly from start to finish.

Music, Energy and Emotion

In Buddhi, music is medicine — and you will learn how to create playlists that enhance your class intention and emotional arc, turning each session into an experience. We will also explore how shaking, spiraling, and twerking facilitate emotional release, regulate the nervous system, and create coherence between body, mind, and heart.

The Science and Spirit Behind the Shake

You will gain insight into the physiology and energetics that make Buddhi so unique — from entrainment and heart coherence to the energetic anatomy of chakras and bandhas. This balance of science and spirituality gives you the tools to teach from a place of both depth and authenticity.

Leadership and Confidence

Teaching Buddhi is about so much more than leading movement — it is about embodying leadership. You will explore your authentic teaching voice, refine your communication, and develop the confidence to hold space for your students with grace and power.

Community and Connection

Buddhi thrives on connection. Throughout the training, we will cultivate a sense of sisterhood through bonding activities, reflective exercises, and shared experiences, both online and in Malta. You will leave not just with a certification, but with a tribe of like-minded women who will continue to uplift and inspire you long after the training ends.

By the time you complete the program, you will not only be ready to teach — you will have undergone a full transformation of your own. You will move differently, think differently, and feel differently — empowered, embodied, and fully alive.

This is more than a certification.

It is a catalyst for growth that will ripple through every area of your life.

Included excursions

Students will have the opportunity to explore Malta, immersing themselves in the island’s rich culture, history, and natural beauty. Excursions included in the program are designed to balance exploration with relaxation, offering both cultural experiences and time in nature.

During the program, participants will visit and enjoy:

  • Mdina: The former capital, famously featured in Game of Thrones, with polished stone streets, quiet alleyways, and a peaceful atmosphere, where only residents’ cars are allowed.
  • Valletta: Malta’s present-day capital, a stunning walled fortress city overlooking the Grand Harbour, rich with history, architecture, and charm.
  • Northwest Beaches: Two beautiful sandy beaches, perfect for sunbathing, swimming, or simply soaking in the Mediterranean views.
  • Comino and the Blue Lagoon: A boat trip to the tiny island of Comino, home to the famous Blue Lagoon, with the chance to swim in crystal-clear turquoise waters and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Malta’s surrounding islands.

These excursions offer a unique opportunity to connect with Malta’s landscapes and culture, while also allowing time for relaxation, reflection, and fun throughout the training experience.

Location

The in-person portion of your training takes place on the enchanting island of Malta—a destination that feels like it was made for transformation. Surrounded by turquoise waters, sun-drenched cliffs, and ancient cities, Malta offers the perfect balance of vibrant energy and deep stillness—a setting that invites you to expand, explore, and reconnect with yourself.

Throughout the training, you’ll take time to step off the mat and experience the magic of the island together. Curated excursions are woven into the program, giving you the chance to unwind, explore, and bond with your Buddhi squad without having to plan a thing. From wandering through ancient cities like Valletta and Mdina, to basking on golden beaches, and spending a day sailing the Mediterranean to explore the waters around the neighboring islands—each experience is designed to nourish your spirit and create unforgettable memories.

Between moments of study and movement, you’ll find yourself immersed in the Mediterranean lifestyle—salt on your skin, laughter shared over long lunches, and sunsets that linger long after the day ends.

The town is under 20 minutes from some of Malta’s most beautiful beaches and just a short drive from the ferry to other Maltese islands—making it easy to explore the island’s natural beauty and culture while still enjoying the quiet concentration your training deserves.
