You want to start yoga, or do you want to deepen the postures and go further? You have 11 days to grow on the path of the sacred science of yoga. The recipe for this intense experience? Indian teachers who have their own yoga ashram in India, which shows their competence, a small group so very individualized attention, a bubble of peaceful nature in a Natura 2000 zone, a conviviality that generates friendships for life. This is the first module of a 200-hour certification.

Classes are given in French or English and all are translated simultaneously.

You will be welcomed in a friendly centennial house, with panoramic views on the Esterel mountains and the Siagne valley, which instantly infuse a feeling of peace.

The yoga room opens onto the garden, so as to enjoy the view of the valley.

The rooms with single beds will be shared by 2 students. Two single rooms are also available on request.

This warm, benevolent atmosphere (maximum 12 people) allows you to take a break, and creates an ideal context for meetings and sharing. Oftentimes, long-lasting friendships are formed here!

What you will study

Asana

Asana (posture) is a Sanskrit word which means comfortable sitting. You will practice them to manage to sit in meditation without discomfort.

Pranayama

Pranayama is much more than a breathing exercise. "Prana" means breath and "Ayama" means control and expansion; by combining the two, pranayama means: to concentrate its energy to better direct and increase it.

Mantra Chanting

It’s the vibration of the primordial sounds of mantras helps the union of body and mind.

Alignments

The role of a yoga teacher is to position the student in perfect alignment, that is to say an effortless support of the body while respecting everyone's structure. You will therefore focus on the various adjustments that will allow progress to be made towards this alignment.

Meditation

Observing your breathing allows us to calm our thoughts, and therefore to calm the "monkey mind". Coinspire teaches this age-old technique, common to yoga and Buddhism. In addition to this meditation which comes from the Himalayas, you will also approach the techniques of sound meditation with Tibetan bowls, the process of yoga nidra, and also meditative healing techniques.

Teaching methodology

The methodology, in a benevolent environment for the students, gives the tools to build lessons on different themes, create a benevolent atmosphere in the class, introduce different yoga practices, develop a relationship of trust student teacher, and increase self-awareness.

Anatomy and physiology of yoga

The link between the body's mechanisms and the postures will bestudied. It is also important to link anatomy and philosophy: "all that is above is like that which is below."

Philosophy of yoga

Beyond the systemic study of the subtle bodies, you will study the principles of yogic life as they are described in the Bhagavad Gita and the yoga sutras of Patanjali.

Kinesiology

It’s the art of healing stress: the body speaks to you if you know how to interpret its messages. It speaks to us both in terms of chronic pain and somatization. And if it is expressed in pain, it can also help you understand yourself in a much softer way through muscle biofeedback. Ever since childhood, one lives painful emotional experiences which are forgotten but nevertheless active and therefore put in place, subconsciously, leading to conditioning and avoidance. Your history is memorized at the cellular level and it is enough to interrogate the body to have access to it.

Emotional body language

It means the integration of body, mind and spirit. The purpose of this art of healing is to identify and correct energy blockages as they appear in the present, both physically and psychically, in order to free the mind from conditioned belief systems that limit your perception in all areas of life.

Gordon Stokes, creator of a kinesiology current said: "To summarize the nature of what we do: we defuse the emotions of the past that block perceptions of the present: if we do not defuse the causes of the problem in the past, no action taken in the present survives the next similar stress.”

This 100-hour training includes:

  • Consciousness and the five layers or Panch Mayakosha
  • Meditation and pranayama - Khapalabhati and Anulom Vilom, etc.
  • Asanas, to perfect your own practice and strengthen your body (described as your vehicle for moving in life)
  • Asanas, their effects on the physical and astral bodies (subtle)
  • Sun Salutation and the 12 basic postures
  • Advanced Adjustments and Variations

  • Chanting mantras (which are the practice of Bhakti yoga)
  • Karma yoga practice one hour a day (help with meal preparation and cleaning of the yoga room)

The yoga taught during the training is Hatha yoga according to the Indian tradition (Vinyasa - Restorative).

A discovery of Vinyasa Ashtanga is proposed at the end of the training

You will be asked to create a scenario of the sun salutations to present to the group, then an asana course to be given in cooperation with a partner.

Location

The training takes place in the small Provence village of Saint-Cézaire-sur-Siagne, on the French Riviera, only an hour drive from Nice airport. Its location, in a classified Natura 2000 area, will give you the opportunity to take part in daily hikes in the middle of nature.

Saint Cézaire is a medieval village famous for its river (the Siagne aux cristallines river), as well as its Saturday market.

The cuisine is simple, tasty and vegetarian, prepared one hour in advance according to Ayurvedic tradition.

The Co.inspire yoga center is located around twenty of the great beaches of the French Riviera: Cannes, Juan-les-pins, where all marine activities are represented.

And far enough from the city noise to savor the peace of the natural environment lies the NATURA 2000 park with its many hikes.

Kayaking is also possible in the Haute Siagne valley.
