A day as a Rishikesh yoga teacher trainee:

Monday - Saturday

  • 06:00 - 07:30 The day begins with classic Hatha yoga
  • 07:45 - 08:45 Pranayama, kriya, and mantra chanting class
  • 09:00 - 09:30 It's time for breakfast to get some energy
  • 10:30 - 11:30 Alignment and adjustment / teaching methodology
  • 12:00 - 13:00 Study of human body structure on yoga practice
  • 13:15 - 13:45 Lunch break and rest time
  • 15:00 - 16:00 After break, back in the shala with yoga philosophy class

How to get there

You can reach the location by train, bus, or air. The best option is to take a flight to the Dehradun Airport as it is the closest to the destination. When taking a train, get down at Hardwar station and take a taxi to reach Rishikesh. Lastly, buses are connected through Hardwar, Dehradun, and New Delhi.
