Gurukul Yogashala Ashram has private, and shared rooms prepared for yoga students. All have private bathrooms with Western toilets and abundant hot and cold water. At the accommodation, you will find clean rooms with cozy garden view, and mountain view with refreshing showers, storage space, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
The location of the Gurukul Yogashala Ashram is dedicated in ensuring a clean and harmonious atmosphere throughout your stay, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the surroundings. This provides the ideal place for practicing yoga outdoors while gazing upon the awe-inspiring Himalayas and the sacred Ganges, making it an idyllic setting to call home during your stay.
You will find that daily needs shops, ATMs, healthcare, bike rentals, and cafes are all near the school within walking distance.
There are options for AC accommodation inside the Ashram. Please note that the AC accommodation is available in the private accommodation only and there will be additional 300 USD charges (apart from the course fees) for 28 days.

Keshav Dev
Keshav Dav Ji, a distinguished spiritual teacher and practitioner, hails from the tranquil region of Amanguna near Rishikesh. Raised amidst the awe-inspiring Himalayas, he nurtured a profound fascination for philosophy, mystical yogas, and spirituality from an early age. Under the guidance of his esteemed mentor, Sri Asaram Ji, Keshav Ji delved into the realms of Sanskrit and spiritual wisdom while tending to cows in the Himalayan forests. His spiritual quest led him to study under the tutelage of various masters, including Gorakshpith.
Shikha Sharma
A native of Delhi, Shikha Sharma began her journey into the world of healing at the age of five, when her father introduced her to the principles of energy and inner balance. Born and raised in a traditional Brahmin family in the holy city of Rishikesh, Yogi Upendra Ji was introduced to yoga and ancient scriptures in his early childhood by his father, a Sanskrit scholar. He decided to pursue his studies further, traveling to the Bihar School of Yoga in Munger to complete a certificate course before studying Vedanta at the Yoga Vedanta forest academy at Sivananda Ashram Rishikesh. Here, he surrendered himself to perfecting his teaching and yogic discipline under the guidance of his Guru Swami Vishwa Rupananda Saraswati.
Dr. Sanjeev Pandey
Yogacharya Sanjeev Pandey ji, a 7th generation Himalayan Yogi, he is MSc. PhD. Yogic science & Human Consciousness, B.N.Y.S. in Yogic Science & Naturopathy and Doctor in Yoga Therapy and Naturopathy. Please book your flight to Jolly Grant Airport (DED). Gurukul Yogashala provide a free shuttle service from Dehradun Airport to school in the morning at 10:30 and evening at 16:30 only on the official arrival day of every month. To book your slot, you can inform the school about your arrival in advance. If you are reaching on any other time we can provide the transportation upon request for 25 USD.
You can also book your flight to Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). Transfer to and from this airport is available upon request for 70 USD (one way).

Arrival by bus
From Delhi, take a Volvo bus to Rishikesh. Please note that these buses generally stop running after 21:00 and that traffic, time of the day, and festival celebrations on the road can lead to delays.

There are various trains that travel between Rishikesh and Delhi. It is advisable to book your tickets through the official Indian railways government website or application to avoid any confusion regarding timings and payments.
