This unique approach offers two different styles of yoga that honor both the Yin and Yang elements within, designed to bring back the balance into our body and lives. Half of the training focuses on the Yang through Vinyasa yoga, while the other delves on the Yin with Restorative yoga, meditation, and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) concepts.
Upon completion, you will be confident to teach both a Vinyasa style flow class or a Restorative Yin style class. We take pride in producing teachers who have a comprehensive knowledge of these two unique yet interconnected styles of yoga.

The location was chosen for its tranquil atmosphere and rich culture. The facilities include luxury accommodation, a yoga shala with the teak wood floor, yogic food, spa, and an infinity swimming pool.
A custom built retreat center, the retreat center has been specifically designed to best support the principles and practices of yoga. Your personal villa has breathtaking views, opening onto a private deck with seating only steps away from luscious rice fields and jungles. All of the independent rooms are designed with their own unique aspect to experience the stunning beauty and tranquility of the view.
Recycled timber, handpicked furniture, fine cotton sheets, and authentic Balinese touches are combined with European styling. Each room is equipped with AC, fan, organic shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and moisturizer. Last but not least, we offer nightly turndown services to compliment relaxation.
This 200-hour yoga training course provides a strong foundation that will enable you to sequence and teach safely and effectively both a Vinyasa yoga class and a Yin yoga class. You will have a sound understanding of how the body works so that you can teach from a functional anatomy perspective and correct student postures as well as be more aware in your own practice.
We will also cover in depth other aspects of the yoga tradition including history and philosophy. Each morning will begin with meditation and pranayama and a 90-minute Vinyasa practice. We will look at a few different meditation techniques and pranayama practices so that you can choose those that work for you and you can learn to teach them effectively.
As part of your Yin training, you will learn the Paul Grilley 14-10-7 method as well as delve into concepts of Traditional Chinese Medicine learning about Meridians (energy channels) and the 5 elements within the body and how to use these in teaching a yin class. Each evening we wind down and enjoy the benefits of a 90 minute Yin practice.
During your 200-hour yoga teacher training, there will be plenty of opportunities to practice your teaching skills. Starting early on you will have opportunities to develop your skills and find your voice through small group practice teaching and teaching in front of the class. There are also daily posture clinics where we break down key poses and look at the mechanics of the poses, the anatomy and use of props.
Your 200-hour certificate will be awarded on completion of all course requirements and you can start teaching right away anywhere in the world! You will also be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT 200 Registered Yoga Teacher.
Your journey as a yoga teacher will start before you arrive in Bali. We ask that you read the following books before you come and submit a one-page summary of each at the start of the training.
There will be 1 day off per week for you to enjoy exploring Ubud with new friends.
Originally trained in Tai Chi and Iyengar yoga, Jose is knowledgeable about the body and its movement. He strives to spread awareness of the importance of spinal decompression and alignment to relieve stress, treat injuries and improve any physical practice. Georgina came to the yogic path following a traumatic event in her life. After being introduced to meditation she found a calmness and awareness in her life that she had never experienced before. She left her Marketing career to follow this path. After periods of intense meditation she began to explore asana and completed her 200 hour vinyasa teacher training in Bali with Radiantly Alive. Since then she has opened more to the softer side of the physical practice and completed a 200 hour Yin Yoga teacher training with Jo Phee. Creator of Zazyoga, Marylene specializes in Yoga anatomy, therapeutic applications of yoga, Corporate Yoga and Yoga for depression, stress, and anxiety. Curious about what other benefits a holistic approach to yoga could bring, she devoted her time and energy to study the human mind and body and 8 limbs of yoga for the last 7 years. In 2016, she decided to leave her corporate career to pursue a PhD in Osteopathy to deepen her knowledge of the physical body. She also completed her certifications as Reiki Master and Mindfulness coach. She has trained more than 150 yoga teachers.

Ceremonies and traditions make up the fabric of daily life here which is what makes Bali so unique. You will witness ceremonies and offerings to the Gods all done with a dedication and beauty. It’s no surprise that this unique and sacred Island is such a mecca for yogis, foodies and culture lovers alike with its mix of Hindu culture, yoga, and spirituality, the warmth of the Balinese people, healthy food and beautiful nature.
Situated right on our doorstep, Ubud is Bali's capital for yoga, culture and health scene. Ubud is an ancient town and known for its numerous temples, arts and culture, made famous by the movie “Eat Pray Love”. Our retreat and open-air yoga shala is an oasis of tranquility set amidst the lush green rice fields overlooking the jungle and palm trees and giving you a sense for this powerful island's energy.
3 daily delicious and fresh vegetarian meals will be served each day lovingly prepared by the Balinese staff in our on-site open-air lounge. You have the choice to either sit around a big family table with new friends or choose a smaller table for more intimate interactions or time-out. Herbal teas, daily fresh ginger, lime and mint, Balinese or french-press coffee and filtered water are always available. An afternoon snack is provided each day with a tropical fruit platter, fresh raw veggies, and homemade vegan dips.
