Maharishi Yoga Peeth offers 10 days of accommodation for this course in Bali. The accommodation ranges from private to shared rooms. The prices for private rooms are not included in the training fee. On the other hand, private rooms fill up quickly so you will have to complete the registration process early to get private accommodation.

The 100-hour program covers essential aspects of yoga, including asana practice, pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, basic anatomy, and an introduction to yoga philosophy. You'll develop a strong foundation in yoga principles.

Syllabus

Shatkarma

The six purificatory techniques. Before commencing pranayama, any imbalance in the dosas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) should be removed / balanced. In Hatha yoga, six particular practices were specifically designed for this purpose. They are called shatkarma.

Pranayama (breathing techniques)

'Pranasya ayamah iti pranayama'- expansion of breath is Pranayama. In the teacher training course, students learn various breathing techniques that will not only help overcome stress, anxiety, and fatigue but also revitalize the body, and improve blood circulation and concentration. Since breath is the bridge between the body and the mind, establishing this bridge is one of the key techniques for successful meditation.

This teacher training program will take place in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. Ubud is Indonesia’s spiritual and cultural heart on the island of Bali. This beautiful and serene location in Bali is surrounded by lush greenery and the tranquil sounds of nature.

Food

The Bali food

Bali and India are well known for their beautiful taste in food. Yoga and Ayurveda teach about how to balance the body through your diet. Different foods influence your different systems and elements. The students will enjoy the most tasty and healthy meals during this course.

Vegetarian meals

Students will have nutritious vegetarian food during their course. You will be provided with breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, except for Sunday lunch and dinner as it is a free day.

The kitchen team is guided by the ashram and knows how to prepare food with spiritual feelings. They do not use any meat, eggs, or alcohol in their kitchen. They also encourage students not to use them during the program.
