100-Hour Multistyle Teacher Training Course

This course is tailored to meet the needs of beginner and intermediate yogis, as well as spiritual seekers who want to experience a teacher training course in Rishikesh according to the purest Himalayan tradition.

During this intensive and immersive training, you will be living an authentic yogic lifestyle, having a balanced and disciplined routine, eating delicious organic vegetarian and vegan food, and you will be exposed to the rich Hindu traditions of North India.

This course is also a big opportunity for personal development. You will be working on self-discipline, self-control, stamina, endurance and resilience, practicing spiritual and physical purification techniques, and learn a new set of skills that will help you in life and in your career as a professional yoga instructor.

A lot of attention is given to yoga teaching techniques and principles as to the correct alignment of all asanas. You will learn how to prepare and conduct a class from beginning to end, but also how to demonstrate, adjust and help your future students to reach their maximum potential and get the most benefit out of the techniques performed.

Every week you will have group activities and excursions. They will be held on Sundays, for students to have a break from the schedule to have time to enjoy and explore Rishikesh.

In the Ayurveda module, you will learn how to design and adhere to a healthy ayurvedic diet for optimal health according to your body type specifications.

A module on the secret practices of Kundalini yoga, and an in-depth workshop and initiation on Reiki Level 1 is added to the curriculum which makes this course one of the most complete yoga teacher trainings in India.

Mimamsa Yogshala is positive that during this course your level of fitness will improve significantly, and you will feel your body and mind transform into becoming stronger, flexible, and balanced as a result of the intense daily practices.

Please note that due to the scheduling of the program, you may not be presented with some of the modules stated here. Besides your yoga kit, you will also be provided with all yoga props such as yoga mats, bolsters, bricks and belts, so all you are required to do is to bring your own personal luggage.

Food

Mimamsa Yogshala considers yoga to be more than just a form of exercise for the body and mind. It is a complete framework for a joyful and healthy life.

The Ayurveda, also systematized by sage Patanjali, who wrote the Yoga Sutras, is yoga’s sister science, and the combination of both of these ensures a long life free of suffering.

The food you consume isn't just to maintain physical health, but also to maintain good mental and spiritual well-being. Food in the yogic system is classified differently than by modern science. Instead of dividing and categorizing food into carbohydrates, proteins and more, yoga and Ayurveda classify foods as Sattvic, Rajasic and Tamasic.

  • Sattvic foods make you feel energized, enthusiastic yet light
  • Rajasic food can make you active and cause tension
  • Tamasic foods make you feel lazy

The term "kundalini" comes from the Sanskrit word "kundal" which means circular. It also refers to a coiled snake, and according to practitioners, Kundalini energy is like that of coiled snake as it sits at the base of your spine, sleeping and unaroused.

Where there has been physical or emotional pain, the energy can become stagnant. In time, these energy blocks can cause illness. Energy medicine aims to help the flow of energy and remove blocks in a similar way to acupuncture or acupressure.
