Kundalini yoga

Practical and theoretical class of yoga

Classes will begin class with warm-up exercises, then sun salutation or surya namaskar in all 12 poses in sequence, and then the practice of asanas. You will be taught how to comfortably hold the pose for a longer period.

The syllabus is almost same as of a 100-hour YTTC but with more practice and deep theory. In this 200-hour YTTC, you will be taught some part in Sanskrit and translate its meaning in English because Sanskrit is an ancient language in India and yoga is the origin of India and speaking Sanskrit feels energizing and makes you full of positivity, feeling like good vibes all around.

Food

The ashram offers three vegetarian and vegan meals a day. A variety of yogic delicacies are on the menu of this 200-hour yoga teacher training course. Rice, lentils, beans, chickpeas, vegetables, and flatbreads are staples. Salad is always available too, along with dessert.

Daily freshly made meals are included in the package of the course. The food is fully prepared hygienically, and the vegetables are organic and locally produced.

What you eat influences your physical well-being and also your emotions and thoughts. Yoga and Ayurveda classify food according to the effect provoked in the body and mind, and it can be of three types - satva, rajas, and tamas.

Tamasic food is the kind of food that makes you lethargic or sluggish. Rajasic food is that which brings about activity or restlessness. Whereas, sattvic food is the kind that makes you feel light, energetic, and enthusiastic.

Sattvic foods are those that purify the body and calm the mind. They stimulate the body and mind into action. Cooked food that is consumed within three to four hours can be considered sattvic. All food Mimamsa Yogshala serves is sattvic and prepared with love and care for your well-being, with fresh produce from the local market, and with your daily performance taken into account.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). Transfer from and to the airport is available at an additional cost of 110 USD. Mimamsa Yogshala will pick you up from the airport. You can also book your flight to arrive at Jolly Grant Airport (DED). From Jolly Grand Airport, location is around 15 to 20 kilometers. Airport pick up is included in the price.

Arrival by train

From Rishikesh Railway Station, they are around five to six kilometers away. You can get a tuk-tuk for Ram Jhula, then you need to cross the Ram Jhula and you can walk to their location.
