Satvik Yogshala is a yoga school located in Rishikesh, the yoga capital of the world, on the banks of the Ganges, and in Varkala, a peaceful seaside destination in Kerala. These sacred places provide the perfect setting for deep immersion in yoga practice and spirituality.

Food

The food in Satvik Yogshala India is made with love that you can feel in every bite. Food is an important part of yoga that helps to awaken your energy. They buy vegetables from the local farmer of the Himalayan mountain so that they can be supported financially and the ashram can get organic vegetables.

The ashram does not serve coffee and non-vegetarian products. The herbal tea may help you to make yourself new in this month of training. On Sunday, they serve only breakfast so that you can enjoy the taste outside in the beautiful cafes, and also the cooking team enjoys the time to rest and spend time with their family.

Arrival by airplane

If your flight arrives at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), transfer from and to this airport is available upon request for 160 USD, two ways. Please let Satvik Yogshala know if you would like to take this option. If your flight arrives at Jolly Grant Airport (DED), free pickup will be arranged upon informing Satvikyogshala in advance about your arrival.

Arrival by train

From Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), another good option is to travel by train. You can reach the train station by car. Then, you can take the train to Haridwar. From Haridwar, you will reach Rishikesh by taxi.

Arrival by bus

From Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), another convenient option is to take a bus, preferably an overnight bus, to Rishikesh from Delhi. The bus stand is 15 minutes away from Rishikesh Market.
