During the residential training, you will be staying in an Airbnb-style flat. Each person has their own humble private room with a bed. You will have full access to a kitchen. There is also a washing machine and Wi-Fi. There is no air conditioning.

Certifications
Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).
How the training works
For online training, you will receive a manual, videos, and PPT to study at your own pace. You should spend about eight hours daily. You will finish the training in a minimum of one month. The online part makes up 100 hours of the 200-hour yoga teacher training. For the residential training, you will spend two weeks in Barcelona. The residential part comprises the other 100 hours of the training. Everything you do in person is available online and organized into 10 modules. You will be writing scholarly papers based on each module, and at the end of the online portion of the course, you will submit all your homework.

Curriculum
Hatha Vinyasa
In this Hatha Vinyasa yoga teacher training, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the asana experience as you learn to teach basic Hatha yoga series with a focus on breath coordination, lines of energy, modifications, and adjustments. The practices of pranayama (the science of breath), meditation, and chanting will be introduced to enrich you and provide you with the skills to lead these practices as they might relate to a yoga class.
You will learn how to give guided classes and become teachers of asana and meditation. After the first five trainings, you will begin to guide the class. You will be studying the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, the anatomy of yoga, pranayama, and Ayurveda among other subjects. You will end the year with a certificate. The training can also be taken as a means to deepen your yogic understanding and all are welcome.

Instructors
Andrea Lynn Bourget
Andrea is the director of the school and teaches various aspects of the training, such as anatomy and moral philosophy. With over 10 years of teaching experience, she now specializes in yoga teacher trainings. Passionate about Eastern philosophy, Andrea earned her undergraduate degree in Philosophy and furthered her studies with a teaching degree in India and a teaching qualification in Barcelona. She holds a Master’s degree in yogic science.
Location
Online training (GMT+2)
The online part of the training can be done after or before the residential part. You will spend eight hours daily using manuals, videos, and PPTs from the whole course. The minimum duration to complete the online program is one month.
In-person training
The in-person yoga teacher training will take place in Barcelona, Spain. From the accommodation, you will need to take the metro to get to the studio, which will be about a 25-minute commute.
Food
All meals during the residential training will be at your own expense.
