Beautiful remote location for connecting to self and yoga

I loved the views, east to sunset every day and west to the city lights every night. Perched high on the hillside, the setting is beautiful with cows and horses to engage with on your walks up and down to class, meals and your casita.

The food was deliciously 100% vegan. We were the first group for the new Chef, Kevin, and he did a great job with flavors, quantity of food and variety. There was fruit and tea available any time. We were free to use the kitchen if we had our own things to prepare.

The casita was very comfortable. My bed was a single with a new mattress and i slept very well here, always an hour per night more than my usual, sometimes 2 hours. I really found peace and calm here.

The teaching schedule seemed just right with what i was able to learn in a limited time. I enjoyed having some time off on the weekends tovexplore and absorb.

This program offers Shamanism and a Temezcal Ceremony. Both programs were outstanding and fairly rare to find in a 200YTT. Both programs were instramental in building new frienships within the group that will last lifetimes!

The teaching staff! Paulo, Veronika, Isabel and Marcella were warm and welcoming and handled their subjects well, often leaving us curious enough to explore further.

Not what I expected

The location is amazing. The site is at the top of a mountain, nearby Quito, next to Yaruqui. There are double rooms in individual buildings with a private bathroom for each room. There is no wifi in the rooms, which felt good but is important to know for anyone who wants to work during the training. The kitchen is the common room, where there is also wifi and tables to hang out. We had the chance of having Purna as a cook, since then he has left, but whoever is there takes in charge all the cooking 7 days a week, so we are extremely lucky to have them there. The main yoga shala is beautiful with big windows straight in front of the mountains, allowing for the sun to come in. The invited teachers - Isabella, Veronika, Hector and Rosa - were a great addition, if not base, to the training. They each bring their own ressources of knowledge and were aware of our demands. They would listen to our needs and try to adapt their classes to our curiosity. Isabella arrived only for the last week of our training and really made it a point to adapt her teaching to everything we felt we were lacking.

It is a shame I do not recommend this experience as a lot of the people in the team were wonderful and very caring.

A beautiful and life changing experience

This comment is about the 200hrs teacher training in Quito, Ecuador.

* This experience made me fall more in love with yoga, the calm and steady part of it. Especially meditation.

* Foooood and of course the best cook in the whole world : Purna. It wasn't just experiencing food, but also his love and generosity! And Lolita' sweets OMG !

* Beautiful shala

* Teachers were great : Veronica, Rosa, Isabella, Hector and Paulo... Each of them sharing valuable pieces of knowledge.

I wanna express gratitude toward each of them but specifically Isa and Veronica that were living with us and shared a lot.

* The fact that this training isn't designed to have that many participants make the theoretical classes more lively.

* Anatomy class could have been very boring but they were awsome thanks to Veronica

* Isabella has some ancient wisdom and knowledge about yoga that was super interesting. I am glad we asked for teachings from her.

* Hector and Rosa made me discoved what kundalini actually is and how powerful it is.

* I am glad we went in the amazon, at the other training place during a weekend. It's a magical place.

I am still very happy for having done this YTT, for the people, the laughs, the food, the philosophy, experiencing pure presence...

The space is really beautiful, the yoga shala and rooms are set on the hillside about a 30 minute drive from the nearest town. The shala is beautifully designed, with wide windows along one wall allowing for the sun to shine in as it comes over the mountains in the morning. The rooms are minimalist but quite nice, each has two beds and a bathroom. They also have hot water which is quite appreciated with the cold in the morning and evening at that altitude. The whole place is surrounded by eucalyptus forest and is extremely peaceful, a great place to be to disconnect from the city and reconnect to oneself. The food is also delicious and cooked with love and care. I can't say enough good things about Isabella, who was with us for the last week and worked so hard to fill the many gaps we found in our training. Also Veronika with her gentle approach to ashtanga and her humour through anatomy lessons. Rosa and Héctor we're also a wealth of knowledge that I only wish we had had more time and opportunities to explore. I am so thankful to these four teachers for stepping up and responding to our needs in the last week of our training.

Wonderful experience!

This month was a wonderful experience on a personal and a professonal level. The farm is magical and offer such a relaxing and beautiful environnement. The diversity of the classes are good for an introduction training, especially for students who have never done any other training before. The teachers are great and care a lot about your growth and your learning. The food was great and the cook, Purna is really sweet. I felt really great there and I really feel that this experience allowed me to evolve!

Just go, and trust the process

I can not thank Paulo and the team enough for the time I had there. I received so much more than what I could have expect for.

The place is amazing, the classes, the teachers and the food as well. I leave with knowledge on yoga but on myself too, and so many tools to spread good energy around !

You know it has been such an special life changing time when it is so hard to say goodbye.

Thank you for everything 🙌🏻

The vibe of Trimu farm is simply magical.

I left with so much more than a teaching qualification and would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat if you are looking to reconnect with yourself. All of the teachers have been carefully selected to provide a holistic programme, each have their own style and speciality which meant I learnt so much - for example a specialist ashtanga yoga teacher. The food was DELICIOUS, so clean and healthy with tonnes of superfoods. The cook pours love into each dish which you can taste. When the group expressed desire for certain food, the team made it possible which kept everyone happy. The accomodation was also super comfortable. Private rooms are available but most people shared a mini house with an ensuite. Each mini house has 2 people in it so it's really calm which is important after hours of studying per day. The shala to practice yoga is surrounded by natural beauty. On days off, the team organised activities if you want to participate including natural hot springs and an amazing market. There are also special hot tub baths you can use. The team organised a temazcal ceremony and shamanism workshop which was the PERFECT way to round up a transformative month. At the heart of this place is reconnecting with yourself, becoming playful, creative and fostering love for everything and everyone. I am forever grateful to Paolo, Vidya, Jagger and other teachers for their hard work and genuine committment to making this yoga programme a fun, loving and transformational experience

Incredible

Paulo and the whole Trimutri team were beyond amazing! It felt as though we were part of a small yoga family. Values of encouragement, kindness and empowerment resonate through every part of of the farm and training. We participated in so many different and unique experiences, and met so many wonderful and beautiful souls. This is a sacred place in every sense, from the scenery to the subtle energy that vibrates through the Shala and beyond. The knowledge, skills and experiences shared here I will carry for the rest of my life.

Life changing experience!

This yoga training was absolutely the best thing I could have done in my life. My husband and I came to Trimurti with no prior yoga experience and Paulo and the staff welcomed us with an open heart. The knowledge held by the training team is invaluable. Their patience and love for the work they do is noticeable in every class and interaction with them. I will be forever grateful to them and my self for deciding to go through this training program!
