Accommodation

The place is a homestay like North Peloponnese, only 200 meters from an unspoilt beach (no sunbeds or restaurants). It is not a school or a retreat center, but a homestay.

It offers rooms that can be used as single for those who enjoy privacy or shared for couples, friends, or groups. Each room has a shared or private balcony overlooking the gardens and the beautiful nature.

The house also has 2 bathrooms and 1 kitchen. The living room and gardens are used for the yoga practice. The average number for this training is 5-8.

What makes this training special

Yoga and more school trainings help students to study the yogic field, create a general commitment to the yogic path without dogmatic attachments, and have the ability to apply on the mat and off the mat, in the real world, the philosophy of a yoga practitioner, as well as of a scholar who seeks the eternal truths. This is a Vinyasa, Hatha, and Restorative-based training, following modern methods from science, as well as from intuition and love teachings.

Training hours

The training complies with the new elevated yoga standards of Yoga Alliance. Optional preparation with an online training library (free access). Exams: The 15th training day is for tests and yoga teaching.16th day is graduation and exit day. Students immediately after graduation can register for Yoga Alliance as RYT200.

Students complete a written test from their home post graduation (the philosophy is not to be examined, but to self-reflect upon what they have learned). Throughout the training, a certain selected bibliography is used and proposed for lifelong learning as well. Also, free ebooks are given to read and complete the exercises. This curriculum follows the Yoga Alliance guidelines in 200-hour training.

Bus or train tickets and food at restaurants are not included in the tuition price.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Athens International Airport (ATH). Transfers to/from the venue are not provided.

Driving directions from Athens Airport

  • From Athens Airport, follow the sign to Attiki Odos in the direction of Athina/Elefsina
  • At Elefsina, you will automatically enter the highway in the direction of Corinth
  • After this, pass the Isthmus of Corinth
  • Continue on the highway towards Patras
  • After the 158th kilometer on the highway, turn right
  • On the next junction, turn left
  • Again, turn left on the following
  • Stay on the same road passing Diakopto
  • After 13 kilometers, you will arrive at the venue (you will be sent the Google location)

Arrival by Train (16 EUR) or Bus (16 EUR).

Option 1: Train + Regional Train

  • Route: Suburban Railway (Proastiakos) from Athens Airport to Kiato.
  • Important: At the "Kato Acharnai" station, you must get off and cross to the opposite platform to continue on the same line toward Kiato.
  • This is because the Airport–Kiato route involves a platform change at Kato Acharnai.
  • Transfer: At Kiato, change to the regional diesel train to Aigio
  • Duration: ~2 hours and 45 minutes
  • Cost: 16 EUR

Option 2: Airport Bus (X93) + KTEL Bus

  • Take the X93 express bus from Athens Airport to Kifisos Bus Terminal (~1 hour and 10 minutes, 6 EUR)
  • From Kifisos, take the KTEL Achaias intercity bus to Aigio.
  • Duration: ~2 hours and 20 minutes (bus only)
  • Total Duration: ~3 hours and 30 minutes
  • Total Cost: 6 EUR + 16 EUR = 22 EUR

Option 3: From Athens City Center – Train

  • Route: Suburban train from Athens Central Railway Station (Stathmos Larissis) to Kiato, then regional train to Aigio
  • Duration: ~2 hours and 20 minutes

Option 4: Athens city center, KTEL Bus from Kifisos Bus Terminal.

  • Athens Kifisos Bus Station → Aigio: ~2 hours and 20 minutes, 16 EUR

Train tickets can be purchased at stations or via the Hellenic Train website/app. X93 ticket costs 6 EUR; sold at airport booths or on board. KTEL buses (Achaias) have hourly departures and can be booked online or at Kifisos. The Aigio train station is located ~2 km from the town centre. From the bus or train station of Aigio, take a 15e taxi that will drive you in 10-20 minutes to the venue (~16 EUR).
