About Nada yoga 'Vibration of the Cosmos' teacher training course
Take this journey and learn the ancient teachings of Nada yoga, the hidden energy that connects the outer and inner cosmos through vibration and sound.
The practice of Nada yoga is based on a deep knowledge of the nature and effect of sounds on people, and on the whole of nature, in particular on the subtle body with a system of energy or “sound paths,” the nadis and chakras.
Nada yoga is an approximately 5,000-year-old metaphysical philosophy and practice from India. It is rooted in the assumption that the entire creation has emerged from vibrations and oscillations, and is constantly being created anew, and that everything that exists is connected to one another through these very vibrations: Nada Brahma, the world is sound.
These vibrations are called “nad”, “naad,” or “Nada” in Sanskrit. Nada also means process, the flow of consciousness or sound. Within this training, you will immerse deeply into the ancient tradition of Nada yoga, exploring sound, vibration, and music.
This Nada yoga teacher training course is suitable for yoga teachers who would love to unlock the secrets and power of sound and learn the proper vocal techniques and methods to enrich their daily classes and teachings, but also for anyone willing to take a step further to deepen their knowledge and self-practice.
Learn the proper method and technique to use your own voice as a teacher for guidance and meditation, as well as the beauty of mantra usage. Create a unique ambiance and transform your Yin classes, yoga Nidra sessions, and shavasana moments with the transcending vibrations and sounds created by various types of singing bowls and cymbals.
Why choose Yoga Fusion Shala's Nada yoga teacher training course?
The Yoga Fusion Shala's Nada yoga teacher training provides far more than a foundation to get in touch with this ancient philosophy.
Nada yoga is for everybody! It is suitable for everyone, regardless of age, physical constitution, etc. The practice helps many to find their own natural voice and (again) to trust themselves to sing - which can also be very helpful for many in everyday life!
In this way, Nada yoga can become a healing path through self-awareness, self-knowledge, strengthening of intuition, and creative expression and communication, while learning music skills, such as playing the singing bowls, can really infuse your practice and take it to a completely different level.
Nada yoga is a joyful, and at the same time, very effective technique for meditation. It trains attention and concentration on the finest levels of consciousness, and intense joy and happiness can be felt.
It promotes deep relaxation, stopping the inner dialogue / ending mental noise, sounding one's own voice, or singing bowls' sound and vibration as an instrument for changing consciousness.
Is the Nada yoga teacher training course suitable for you? (Pre-requisites and levels)
- You don't have to be a certified yoga teacher already.
- You don't have to be a musician or have music knowledge already.

- If you have any other teaching experience, this will be beneficial, but it is not essential.
- If you are a beginner yourself, this will help you to understand the teaching and learning process even better.

This Nada yoga training is an in-depth 100-hour program spread out through a 15-day immersive training, that will give you everything that you will need to start incorporating Nada yoga into your daily teaching and practice. Intuition and creative intelligence will also be strengthened.
Nada yoga compensates for the “top-heaviness” of many people today. As a result, the self-regulating forces inherent in every human will become active again.
Nada yoga is “singing pranayama.” Your own voice is “audible breath." Nada yoga is sung pranayama.” Singing energizes and quickly brings back used energies, harmonizes, and promotes the health of the entire physiology.
Discovering fine distinctions about your regular practice that would have taken years of intensive study to realize in any other way will change your perspective on how to be more innovative and creative, and open your heart to embrace the beautiful effect of the sound in yoga and inspire your students to do so too.
Join Yoga Fusion Shala in this unique experience and learn how to create a unique ambiance that can transform your Yin classes, yoga Nidra sessions, and shavasana moments through the transcending vibrations and sounds created by the proper use of your own vocal instrument as a yoga teacher, and the various types of singing bowls and cymbals.

Location
The teacher training course and retreat will be held in Ioannina, which was once the ''capital of enlightenment'' of the most mountainous province in Greece, namely Epirus. It is blessed with abundant natural beauty and rich history.
In this enchanting corner of Greece, you might feel that you stepped back to forgotten centuries with elements of the twenty-first century floating around the city.
The old part of the city where the retreat will be located has managed to preserve a rich heritage with outstanding samples of folklore architecture, a wonderful reminder of the city's past. Time stops within the fortified walls surrounding the castle and the city, where this mysterious journey of yours will begin.
The oldest Byzantine castle in the country, the castle of Ioannina, will make you want to stay there forever in order to observe the unimaginable beauty of the city from the top - emblematic at its best!
Pamvotida Lake is the true jewel of Ioannina, while the lakeside pathway with the plane trees is the real treasure for nature lovers.
Small boats will connect the city with a little island in the middle of the lake, the so-called “Nisaki” by the locals. On the lake's waters, Mitsikeli mountain mirrors its perennial beauty, and is just so majestic and peaceful to the soul. You can either follow its romantic promenade or sit on a bench and take in the view.
Under the dense, misty atmosphere of the winter, the deep blue sky tries to surpass the color of the crystalline waters of Pamvotida while unfolding the mysteries of Ioannina.
Nearby excursions include the ancient oracle of Dodoni, the picturesque town of Metsovo, the beautiful Zagorochoria villages, and the breathtaking Gorge of Vikos. Ioannina is also very close to some of the popular summer destinations in Greece, Lefkas, and Corfu islands, as well as the most beautiful beaches and seaside places that Parga, Syvota, and Preveza offer.
The location is 15 minutes' walking from Ioannina's bus station (or three minutes by car) and a 10-minute drive from Ioannina's airport. Five minutes walking from the lake, Urban Yoga House is right in the beating heart of Ioannina's historical and cultural center.

Explore the region!
Blessed with impressive mountains, close-by white sand beaches, spectacular gorges, and flowing rivers, Epirus boasts some of the most spectacular scenery of the country as a genuine wonder of history and nature, with a wealth of culture and tradition that no words could ever describe.
Its essence is concealed behind two words: raw beauty. Epirus is a land of mountains, beautiful lakes, and stone villages that will invite you to explore them through its stone bridges!
Depending on the season when you will be visiting, hiking, rafting, skiing / mountain skiing or snowboarding, trekking, kayaking, trail running, swimming, and standup paddleboarding (SUP), are only a few of the things that you can do in this amazing area.
Explore the city!
Small boats connect the city with a little island in the middle of the lake, the so-called “Nisaki” by the locals. This islet counts around 100 stone houses and numerous tiny stone alleys - a beautiful labyrinth of history and architecture. There, you can also visit the house where Ali Pasha, the ruler of Ioannina during the years of Ottoman occupation, was assassinated.
Another must-see is the Old Town, spreading within the walls of the city castle and around it. It is the largest Byzantine fortress in Greece that offers breathtaking views over Lake Pamvotida. Given its prominent role during the years of Ali Pasha's, two mosques and several other buildings reminiscent of that era can be found there.
Go for a trail run or walk within the peaceful forest of Frontzos Hill overlooking the city! The forest is only seven minutes from Urban Yoga House retreat.
If you have to pick one museum to visit, this should be the Museum of Greek History. This place is awe-inspiring, to say the least. Its creator, Pavlos Vrellis, a former algebra teacher and sculptor, bought the land at the age of 60, designed the building that now houses the museum, and built everything from scratch.
The interior consists of dimly lit rock-encased areas, and hosts 36 wax sculptures created by Pavlos Vrellis, depicting various landmarks of modern Greek History (16th century - WWII).
Make sure that you visit Perama Cave. Follow the guided tour through the 1,500,000 caves and admire up close the beautiful stalagmites and stalactites that have been formed over the years.
From the fascinating natural ecstasies of the 46 villages of Zagorochoria, you can take a journey filled with captivating scenery in Gyftokampos, hiking and following the history of its ancient nomadic tribes and the beautiful waterfalls of Iliochori, where picturesqueness is at its best!
From the wilderness of Vikos- Aoos natural park and the view from the bridge of Konitsa to the authentic hospitality of Tzoumerka, the traditional character and welcoming of Metsovo and the historical vibration of Dodona oracle and ancient theater, to the powerful legendary roars still echoing strong from the dragon lakes of the guardian dragons of Tymphi and Smolikas, this area will embark you on a journey back in time!
