Program
Establish your foundation
This 200-hour yoga teacher training course blends daily practice, traditional teachings, self-inquiry, and spiritual reflection - guided by Yogacharya Nilesh Tiwari. A space to explore the wisdom of classical yoga tradition with a teacher who lives what he shares. Residential. Immersive. Reflective. This immersive program is not only for teachers. It is for those who wish to understand and live with greater awareness through peace, health, and celebration. The modules integrate ancient yogic science, traditional knowledge, and the deeper dimension of yoga that moves beyond physical practice.
Each part of the course is designed to establish sthira (steadiness) in the outer practice and sukha (ease) in the inner experience. First, you deepen your own practice. From there, you share - not by teaching alone, but by living what you have come to understand. The four-week training begins with a foundational phase, developing your ability to teach asana while building a base that goes beyond technique. It is an invitation to experience the deeper purpose of yoga: to know yourself, and to live with clarity, discipline, and awareness.
Teach the tradition
This program is connected to the ancient lineage of Guru Parampara – wisdom passed from teacher to student over thousands of years. It blends theory and practice, offering a comprehensive base from which to teach with confidence and integrity. Over the course of four weeks, students learn in close connection with experienced teachers and dedicated staff who live the yogic lifestyle – offering support throughout your journey.
What you will learn
This training is rooted in two powerful systems:
- Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga - structured, disciplined, and energising
- Sivananda Hatha yoga - devotional, introspective, and harmonising
You will also be guided through:
- Yoga philosophy and classical texts
- Pranayama and subtle energy practices
- Meditation and mantra
- Anatomy and alignment
- Teaching methodology and practicum
- Yogic lifestyle and ethics
- Self-inquiry and daily reflection
Daily life in the Gurukula system
This level 1 200-hour yoga teacher training course (YTTC) is held at Vedic Path, where students live and study as a community. The days are structured yet spacious, designed to bring integration. A typical day includes:
- Morning silence and meditation
- Asana and pranayama practice
- Ayurvedic vegetarian meals
- Study sessions and discourse (satsang)
- Teaching labs and feedback
- Evening chanting or self-study
You will have time to rest, reflect, and simply be with yourself and with nature.
