This yoga teacher training program will challenge you beyond your comfort zone and will guide you to grow on your path. You won't only see a difference in your body, but also in your mind and spirit. Your experience with 11Exhale will go far beyond teacher training. This is training that will change your life. Sometimes you hit a plateau at work or life and wonder if there is more out there for you than work and paying bills, then you're ready for a soulful experience.

Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).
Instructions on this are at the end of your training. Once registered, anyone can look up your certification and know you are certified and have met all requirements to teach safe yoga and guide your classes.

In this initial phase, you'll unravel the science behind yoga, understanding each tradition's impact on the physical body. Dive deep into the respiratory and nervous systems, and grasp how yoga enhances life force energy in the human body. Through videos, lectures, and guided actions, you'll begin to perceive the potent science of yoga, envisioning yourself as a guiding beacon for your community.
Outcome: A robust intellectual grasp of yoga's scientific aspects.
Guided by lead trainer, Julianne Arce, you'll assimilate the fine art of yoga, understanding the nuances of creating a sacred teaching space and guiding others on their yogic journey. This phase also covers the essence of meditation and introduces the business side of yoga, equipping you to articulate your message and effectively market your skills.
Outcome: Profound integration of the art and essence of the yogic lifestyle.
Having absorbed the science and art of yoga, you'll now proceed to the teaching methodology. Here, you'll refine your unique teaching voice, master hands-on adjustments, and perfect the art of Savasana - the treasured culmination of a yoga session. This phase ensures that every yoga session you conduct leaves a lasting imprint on your students.
Outcome: A holistic immersion into the science, art, and teaching methodology of yoga.
This 200-hour training that follows Yoga Alliance standards is 15 days. It is suggested to arrive a day early to get settled in and depart the day after graduation. Students can expect to have a deep understanding of yoga and a full range of yogic knowledge: posture (asana), breathing (pranayama), philosophy, and applications in daily living.
The class size is limited, so every student receives personalized attention and has direct guidance from their instructor. One factor that separates 11Exhale from other teacher training is its teacher development module.
Most training offered only teaches you how to instruct classes using their model, and that’s how most instructors fail. 11Exhale has formulated the practice of finding your teaching voice and style, these two are a major key in your yoga teaching.
You will be helped in finding a teaching style that you build upon and find your voice teaching flow. In addition, you will learn how to lead a safe and well-balanced class. Somatic Yoga is covered in this training.
The language of yoga: Verbal communication is an essential skill for yoga instructors. Yoga has a language all of its own. An in-depth exploration of Sanskrit and the use of language in a yoga class will be covered.
Chakra subtle body anatomy: Yoga Teacher Academy's advanced studies include a journey through the chakra system and how this interplays into your yoga practice and beyond.
Physical body anatomy: Learn not only the mechanics of moving safely through asana (the physical part of your practice) but also how to guide others safely too. With the proper understanding of anatomy and movement students and teachers can enjoy lifelong practice.
Pranayama: Breath is essential to life and yoga. Lead instructor Julianne Arce is passionate about teaching advanced pranayama. Topics include breathing technics and pranavayus. In this module, you will dive in to create a lasting change by removing what no longer serves you.
The business of yoga: With the right mentors and knowledge, it's easier to follow your passion in the yoga industry. Topics include social media strategy, industry trends, and how to get started.
Finding your voice: Understanding your practice is not enough to safely guide others through yoga. Public speaking is the number one fear of people. You will be guided to find your voice so that you can authentically lead others through yoga. You will not learn and memorize a script but will have a full understanding and functional knowledge of how to communicate using your voice.
Yoga philosophy, ethics, and lifestyle: Move beyond the physical practice of yoga and dive deeper into yoga philosophy, ethics, and lifestyle. One component of this module is an in-depth review of the yoga sutras and how they apply to modern culture.
The schedule will be defined depending on group needs. There is previous work that can be done before arrival.
The Latest time of departure is the final day at 11:00 You are welcome to leave anytime after the closing ceremony the previous night. The closing ceremony ends at 16:00.

09:00 - 10:30: Vinyasa Yoga Practice | Immerse in a rejuvenating somatic flow, emphasizing breath synchronization and fluidity of movement
10:30 - 12:00: Yoga philosophy and anatomy insight | Deepen your understanding of yoga through engaging lectures on its philosophy and the anatomy relevant to yoga practice
12:00 - 13:00: Lunch and leisure time | Enjoy a wholesome lunch while engaging in casual conversations with fellow participants
13:00 - 15:00: Teaching methodology workshop | Learn the art of yoga instruction, covering aspects like class structuring, student interaction, and effective teaching strategies
15:00 - 16:30: Asana lab - Alignment and technique | An interactive session to unpack asana alignment, experiment with poses, and receive personalized feedback
16:30 - 17:30: Group teaching practicum | Collaborate and practice teaching in small groups, a vital step in developing your unique teaching style.
17:30 - 18:00: Evening transition break | A brief period to unwind and gear up for the evening yoga practice
18:00 - 19:00: Yin and Restorative yoga session | Engage in a gentle and restorative yoga practice, focusing on relaxation and stress relief.
19:00 onwards: Dinner and personal time | End the day with a nourishing dinner, followed by time for personal reflection, relaxation, or social interaction.
Having devoted herself to mind / body / spiritual integrity, she invites both new and experienced students to join her in the next step of their yoga journey and to reap the benefits of yoga and gain the capacity to share it with others. Since completing training, Julianne has taught over 10,000 hours including Yin, Hot Hatha, Fusion, and Vinyasa. For the last couple of years, she has focused her energy on training other instructors who have gone on to not just teach but also open their own yoga studios. The knowledge she shares was cultivated through her 16 years of self-work.
