Curriculum
Techniques, Training, and Practice will comprise most of the training. It includes the general principles of teaching and practicing asanas, props and modifications, effective class sequencing, and an introduction to meditation and pranayama. In short, you will practice A LOT of Yoga!
Teaching methodology includes:
- Teaching communication skills.
- The business of yoga.
- Teaching yoga to beginners and valuable advice on identifying and honing your teaching path and voice.
Anatomy and Physiology are essential components of Yoga teacher training. Aside from basic anatomy, we will explore the anatomy of Yoga poses, body structure, and healthy movement, how to teach students with injuries and illness, and introduce the subtle energy pathways. Yoga Philosophy, Lifestyle, and Ethics for Yoga Teachers, including a mandatory daily personal practice for the first 30 minutes of class time.
Practicum Yoga teacher trainees will spend considerable time practicing newly developed skills on one another, with friends and family, and to volunteer students in a studio environment.

Instructors
Yogi Chetan Mahesh Ji
Yogi Chetan Mahesh Ji was born in a Vedic family where all the members used to chant Vedic mantras and practice yoga daily. In 1984, he became the champion of yoga sports in Haryana Province. In college, he studied the bio-science stream with yoga as an optional subject and also the master of education which gives him an upper hand while teaching and explaining yoga anatomy and physiology. He finished a Master of Science degree in yoga in 2003 and engaged in imparting yoga teacher training. He became the founder secretary of the Association for Yoga and Meditation in 2005.
