You will be staying in a private single room at the Association of Yoga and Meditation (AYM). AYM provides certified yoga teacher training courses and retreats in Goa and is specifically located on the beach at Love Temples Cottage, surrounded with breathtaking views of the beach. Your accommodation will be without air conditioning and Wi-Fi or internet access will only be available according to the area. Students will be provided with comfortable rooms.
Program
The 300-hour yoga teacher training is designed for additional research after graduation from the 200-hour. After this advanced program, you can register at the 500-hour certification level. The student can apply the principles of yoga in their daily lives. You will improve all the practical subjects of asana, breathing, relaxation, meditation, philosophy, anatomy and physiology, and Ayurveda. Additionally, You will get to teach several classes to gain the confidence to teach a class.
In the course, students realize that the attitude behind teaching is to help others but not before balancing themselves. They are introduced to the many yoga asanas through internal awareness with purifications. Through lectures, students go deeper and look at asanas. Seeing how they affect the mind and body, they study yoga therapy in controlling common diseases and the yoga philosophy in determining people’s temperaments. They begin to practice Yama and Niyama, working with meditation and using diet to achieve balance.
Style
The teaching style is a creative, dynamic, and intelligent flow that can be easily adapted to different levels and tempos. Over 100 poses will be covered in-depth during the training, particularly anatomical sequencing and skillful assists. At the end of the training, you will be fully qualified to teach Vinyasa Flow Yoga and its variations, such as Power Flow or Core Flow, and various levels of Hatha Yoga Interdisciplinary classes. The training presents a unique opportunity for trainees as they will participate in the ongoing class schedule at two studios to take, observe, and assist in classes.

Yoga practice for everyone – work with body and mind. They emphasize the slow adoption of individual positions – the so-called asanas. The aspect of internal concentration is key. An integral part of the exercises is concentration techniques that lead to meditation.
You gradually learn to control the yogic breath – pranayama. You will learn to breathe through the whole body and individual organs. You intensively stimulate breathing even in unique positions when you focus on a specific area: abdomen, lower abdomen, chest, back, and under the collarbone.

Instructors
Yogi Chetan Mahesh Ji
Yogi Chetan Mahesh Ji was born in a Vedic family where all the members used to chant Vedic mantras and practice yoga daily. In 1984, he became the champion of yoga sports in Haryana Province. In college, he studied the bio-science stream with yoga as an optional subject and also the master of education which gives him an upper hand while teaching and explaining yoga anatomy and physiology. He finished a Master of Science degree in yoga in 2003 and engaged in imparting yoga teacher training. He became the founder secretary of the Association for Yoga and Meditation in 2005.
Bharat Tilekar
