The Divinitree and Andean yoga teacher training brings you world-class teachers with a depth of knowledge and an incredible teaching staff from around the world. This is so much more than your average training - it's truly an adventure of a lifetime and an opportunity for an insider's journey in the sacred Andean culture and mountains. The groups that gather are generally international (sometimes with as many as 10 countries represented). Getting to study with an international group of yogis is a great opportunity for cross-pollination to happen.
This is a training and also a heart-opening adventure and journey through the Andes with guides who have decades of experience living and guiding groups there. They are rooted in the Andean communities and connected with the culture, and the trainings help to give back to the local Quechua-speaking communities by working and donating to Ayllunchis' nonprofit.
In the 200-hour training, students learn to design and sequence their class, and the “final exam” is teaching a class that you create (and you workshop together) with a group of your peers. In the 300-hour training, you go a step further, and students create their own conscious yoga and music festival, which is a fundraiser for Ayllunchis, a local Quechua-speaking nonprofit. Working with other conscious yogis from around the world, you will be guided through the steps of creation, because they believe that the best way to learn, especially yoga and the art of taking yoga to the next level, is to do it hands-on. This is a very special opportunity in June and July where the heads of 2 reputable yoga schools come together, join forces, and create an incomparable set of trainings.
They’ve seen some amazing collaborations follow the trainings - students from different countries who now run retreats together and have built long-term friendships. The yoga training focuses on learning intelligent sequencing and connecting with the mind, body, and spirit. The 500-hour teacher training is 2 full months with one week off. It includes the 200-hour training in June, plus the full 300-hour training for the full month of July, plus a journey to Ausungate - the initiates' mountain. An incredible experience only offered once a year, you will be immersed in the yogic lifestyle, path, and go on a true pilgrimage through the Andes. The highlight of this training is that your final “exam” is running a conscious yoga festival with your peers to raise money for a local nonprofit, Ayllunchis.
They offer a thorough introduction to the eight limbs of yoga. As a Vinyasa training, they focus on asana, alignment, and physical anatomy, but that is just the beginning. In the 500-hour training, you will dive deep into learning how to create theme-based, peak pose, mandala sequencing, and well-rounded classes. They have comprehensive pranayama and tantric breathwork practice offered daily, as well as an introduction to the subtle body, the chakras, the vayus, Ayurveda, Indian, and Andean philosophy. If you are looking to uplevel your yoga practice, health, go on a journey of the heart, create a daily sadhana, and have a llife-changingexperience look no further. This is an amazing experience, whether or not you aspire to teach.
While the course is open to yogis of all levels, advanced practitioners will find that this course will take their practice. The classes are designed intelligently so that they cater to every yogi's needs and level. After 2 full months of intensive training, it's amazing the evolution that can happen, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This 500-hour teacher training will take your teaching and practice, and hopefully your life itself, to the next level.

This course is focused on self-inquiry and development and includes powerful manifestation work that will aid you in all facets of life. The yoga on the mat is just the beginning. They are highly inspired by the work of David Frawley and his work with yoga and ecology. More and more research is showing the benefits of nature therapy, and one of the best parts of this training is that you get to explore these majestic mountains. They take you off the beaten track into breathtakingly beautiful places where you can connect with the nature spirits in all their glory.
Yoga is about union with our higher centers of perception, and this training is an opportunity to study sacred texts, immerse yourself in asana, pranayama, meditation, ritual, adventure, community, and magic. They realize that yoga as taught in the West is a fusion of many sacred ways and paths: here they merge Vedic knowledge with Andean spirituality and ceremony in the heart of the world, the Sacred Valley of Peru.
Participants must have the right attitude, an open heart, a willingness to serve the world, be up for adventure, be able to go with the flow, and be ready to leap into a new level of knowingness.
