This Online 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training includes coursework completed in two self-paced modules. The theme for the first module is Who am I? You’ll begin your journey with inner exploration to deepen your yoga practice through philosophy, anatomy, subtle energy, asana alignment, and individualized sequencing. The second module answers the question Why am I here? This module navigates the topic of understanding your relationship with others. It dives deep into the aspects of teaching yoga, including teaching methodology, asana cues, pranayama and meditation, hands-on assistance, creative sequencing, and transitions, and the business of yoga.

Their study focuses on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and Light on Yoga by BKS Iyengar. You will discuss each sutra thoroughly, break down common Hatha and vinyasa asanas and work through sequencing and language for teaching classes. You will learn and practice many traditional pranayama and meditation techniques daily, immersed in the serenity of natural forests.
Approach 1: Who Am I?
The theme is inner exploration. It is aimed toward deepening your own yoga practice through philosophy, anatomy, subtle energy, asana alignment and individualized sequencing.
You will learn:
- To deepen your relationship with yourself through meditation, asana practice, and pranayama practice
- The history of yoga
- Patanjali’s basic scientific method for calming the mind, including the 8 limbs of yoga as they are outlined in the yoga sutras
- Sequencing for a Hatha class
- Asana alignment, modifications, benefits, and contraindications
- Anatomy and physiology of the major physical body systems
- Anatomy and physiology of the subtle energy systems including an introduction to prana, chakras, nadis, vayus, and bandhas
- Connections between physical and subtle energy systems
Approach 2: Why Am I Here?
The theme is understanding your relationship with others. It is focused on the aspects of teaching yoga, including teaching methodology, cueing, pranayama, meditation, sequencing, transitions, and the business of yoga.

Instructors
Courtney Fletcher
Courtney is an ex-gymnast, spinally fused, 20-year yogi, Ashtangi, trained in India, with a 'gypsea' soul whose practice draws from Ashtanga, Hatha, and Vinyasa. Her heart-centered approach evokes an understanding of interconnectedness through a focus on self-love, nature, and Seva (service). The intention is for her students to discover the light within that ignites their path to inner peace, the connection which opens the heart to universal love.

As a professional yoga instructor, it is Bonnie's pleasure and honor to be a part of your inward journey. She is sincerely passionate about her own practice and truly believes that consistency and patience lay the foundation for a healthy yoga journey.
