Certification

Students who successfully complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®300/500). This internationally recognized certification prepares you to teach yoga with confidence, integrity, and compassion, while also supporting your own ongoing healing and growth.

How the training works

The SVL Yoga 300-Hour Yoga & Ayurveda Holistic Teacher Training follows a hybrid format, combining the depth of an immersive in-person experience with the flexibility of self-paced online learning.

  • 240 hours of self-paced online study
  • 60 hours of in-person immersion.
  • Online modules may be completed anytime before or after the in-person training, up to one year from registration.

This structure allows you to integrate learning gradually, embody the practices fully, and revisit key teachings as your understanding deepens.

Throughout the program, you will engage in daily morning and evening yoga practices; yogic breathwork and mindfulness; interactive workshops; group discussions; and self-study, all designed to deepen your knowledge, refine your skills, and inspire personal growth.

By the end of the program, you will be equipped not only to teach yoga skillfully and safely but also to apply yogic and Ayurvedic principles to support holistic health, emotional balance, and sustainable well-being in your own life and the lives of others.

Sample schedule for in-person training

  • 05:30 - 05:45 Morning rituals (personalized): engage in your personalized morning rituals to cleanse and focus, initiating a day of deepened yoga exploration
  • 05:45 - 06:00 Morning meditation, intention setting, and silence (self-practice): begin the day with a space of internal clarity, setting intentions, and immersing in silence to forge a mindful path forward
  • 06:00 - 07:30 Complete morning yoga practice (asana with alignment, breathwork / pranayama, and mindfulness): bask in a comprehensive morning yoga practice, harmonizing body, mind, and spirit, and laying a vibrant foundation for the day ahead
  • 08:30 - 09:00 Breakfast break: enjoy a nourishing breakfast, connect with fellow participants, and prepare for the educational journey ahead
  • 09:00 - 11:00 Relaxation, self-reflection, homework, and journaling: take this time for inward reflection, integrating learning, and documenting your evolving yoga journey
  • 11:00 - 12:00 Applied functional anatomy, and alignment adjustment workshops: engage hands-on with applied anatomy and alignment workshops, honing your practical skills and understanding
  • 13:00 - 14:00 Lunch break
  • 14:00 - 15:30 Self-study and relaxation: engage in self-study or allow yourself to relax and recharge, absorbing the day’s learnings
  • 15:30 - 16:30 Teaching methodology class
  • 17:00 - 18:30 Complete gentle evening yoga practice with breathwork, and meditation): end the day's practices with a holistic evening yoga session, consolidating your physical practice with meditative introspection, and practice holistic yoga
